A Day Away

~~~~Ji POV

As we drove to the town I looked over to her she seemed so drained and her smile disappeared again. Sigh... what can I do to bring that back? I look back to the road. The town was quite small but peaceful I came to a slow stop, so I didn't wake (YN) I quickly run out of the car and into the hotel.

"Annyong-haseyo do you have two rooms?" as much as I didn't want to leave her alone I figured shed want to be alone for a while.

"Ahniyo unfortunately we have no rooms available. There is a reunion in the area and we are in we are booked full." She replied with a disappointed look on her face

"ah its okay thanks though!" I head back out to the car. The sun was already set and there is no place to sleep. Hmm I walk out to the car and sit on the hood and look at the stars.

I heard the car door opening and her step out stretching. She looked so tired I give her a small smile "have a good nap?" She rubs her eyes and nods my jacket must have fell off fell off her shoulders while she got out of the car.
She gets closer "it's cold" I pulled her to me for a hug she didn't pull away she cuddled in closer we leaned on the car once more.

"thank you Ji" she mumbled into my side She hugged me tighter I sighed.
"there is no rooms avail-" I was interrupted

"excuse me sir!" the reception lady came running outside "I'm so glad you didn't leave yet. I've just had a last-minute cancellation I have one room available if you'd like it?" She looks at us two and gives a sly smile

I look down to her "I'll take it. She will use it I'll stay out in the car." I push her towards the lady nods and heads back inside

"Ji... you don't have to stay in the car..." her face was so cute she felt bad for having the room to herself

"it's okay the car is comfortable. go in and rest up now please" I urge her inside

"but ji" she plays with the hem of her shirt as I grab her bag from the trunk "where are you going to sleep?" she said in her cute whiney voice.

"I got the car (YN) don't worry" I assured her

~~~~(YN) POV

I knew he was trying to assure me that he would be fine outside, but he had practice tomorrow if he slept in the car then be sore and wouldn't be able to practice properly.

I shook my head I couldn't let him sleep in the car... plus I really didn't want to be alone right now. I felt like if I was left alone my father would pop out of nowhere and take me away. I knew he was behind bars for tonight at least but I couldn't help but to panic a little.

"uhm...Ji?" I look down and fiddle with my hands come on (YN)! Say it! "I really don't want to be alone right now.... I feel like he will show up and try to take me away again" I felt him pull me into a hug

"so, your saying you want me to stay with you?" I hide my face in his chest and nod silently. I hear his soft chuckle
"well I mean its not the first time we have been in the same room" I break from the hug and look at him with a raised eyebrow. He looks down and scratches his head in such a cute way it almost made me forget what happened today. I felt a breeze brush my legs making me shiver.

"let's go pyjama girl" he teased and pushes me inside the building where the receptionist was waiting.
"so, a room for one?" she glances over at me then to Ji almost like she was trying to confirm if he was taken or not. I don't know why but something overcame me, and I took Ji's hand.

"He's staying with me tonight" as soon as those words left my face Immediately went bright pink I heard Ji trying to hide his amusement by coughing into his hand the woman looks at me eyes wide she was shocked I had said that out loud. Psh don't look at me like that woman

"okay one room for two persons" she types something into the computer and hands us the key and info pack for the hotel. I give a small nod as we walked away I looked up to see ji with the biggest smile on his face oh god oh god... I feel my cheeks once again flush red I look away.

Once we entered the room he almost immediately pushes me into the bathroom with my backpack and closes the door. I guess he wants me to change... but I'm cold I should take a quick shower to warm up and then change. After the shower I quickly change into sweats and a sweater to keep myself warm and walk out of the bathroom and throw my backpack by the bad.

I could hear snoring and I look over and see Ji already in bed asleep. Gosh he must have been tired all that driving then what happened today I walk up towards the bed and crouch down in front of his face ahh he looks so cute as I brush a stray hair away from his face he twitches slightly but didn't wake up.

Why is it that when I see his sleeping face I tend to forget everything for those few moments. I hover my finger tracing his jawline and nose accidently brushing the tip of his nose. I see his eyes flutter open and stare right at me I freeze and do nothing I was just caught I look away from his stare but I don't move I hear him sit up on he bed and move.

"the sleep disturber is going to pretend she didn't just wake me up?" he turns my head so it was facing him. I try to avaid eye contact.

"I wasn't doing anything" I knew he knew I was lying but said it anyway
"hmmm" he grabs his chin like he was thinking "its late lets sleep" he suddenly grabs me and pulls me into the bed and throws the blankets over top of us.

I give a small squeak as I was being lifted "so warm" he pulls me close to his chest and closes his eyes. I felt safe in his tight embrace for now the thought of having to face my father tomorrow was put aside and I closed my eyes for the night.
