New start

“Oppa thanks for agreeing to this" I look up at Dae and smile

“don’t come cryin  to me when it gets tough. Y/N being an idol is not an easy task  especially since you don’t know anyone in the group your going to be in. It will take a long time to get closer to them then like you did with us” he glances at me front he corner of his eye.

“okay Oppa" I hook my arm in his as we were guided to the training room where my new group members would be.

“There are only two other members so if you join there will be three and we can get started on your debut right away.” YG opens the door to the room “Girls come here for a second they stopped what they were doing and gathered around YG

“Girls meet Y/N she’s here to make the final decision weather or not she wants to join this group the nod and look around him and then right at me.

“No way is that Daesung’s sister? Daebak!” the first girl came running up to me and grabbed my hand nice to meetcha Im Alice!” she was so warm and bright I was almost blinded. The other member just crossed her arms. And scoffed at me until Daesung turned into the room she turned into an automatic fan girl.

Wow that’s quite the split between personality’s.. “Oppa my name is Luna!” she clung to my brother’s side.

‘wow and I have to get along with her? I’m find with that and all but if she’s going to be rude..’

“Can I hear you guys sing. And dance individually please my inner rant was cut off by my brother. He takes my arm and walks to sit on the bench pulling me down as well. And leans towards my ear

“for the record I hate it when others call me Oppa” he showed me his arm and it had goosebumps

“get used to it Oppa when your group is world wide famous you’ll have international fans calling you Oppa~” I laugh

The music starts and Alice starts singing my brother bobs his head along in approvement. She stops singing and does a dance solo to the same song. I watched her closely she danced well but it seemed a bit robotic. I look at Daesung and his eyes were like daggers watching her.

Up next was Luna.

She sings well… my singing.. is only average I assume YG only wanted me because I trained with the boys. She starts dancing while singing my brother seemed impressed and nodded his head. He seemed pleased.

“These girls got their own talent. They are good… YG can I ask to get them to practice together for  1 song before I decide I want to see their team work.. and the guys would want to watch as well.” 

YG thinks for a moment “I don’t see why not.. it would be a good test for them. Deal. Let’s do that.”

“Okay good lets give them a week to practice. Y/N I’ve got practice now. Did you want to start now? Or go home first" he gets up from the bench and looks at me for my reply

“I’ll start now when your practice over?”

“might run late did you want a ride home?”

Perfect for a first practice “I’ll be here until then Oppa" he nods and messes my hair up before leaving the room “Ya!” I give him the evil eye as I fix my hair.

He leaves and Alice runs up to me but Luna stays back. “Y/N your brother is so cool. When he was watching me sing his eyes were like daggers one wrong move and I might have been dead!”

“your exaderating he wouldn’t hurt a fly. Well if the fly hit him first he might. But he’s super chill" I laugh and pat her shoulder. “Let’s get started then" Alice nods

“Here your song. It’s one of Jiyongs songs it hasn’t been released yet his only condition was that Y/N debuts with this song" 

I roll my eyes ‘Oh Ji you didn’t  have to do that. I cant keep depending on you' I ended up in deep thought. YG takes my hand and puts the USB into my palm and hands me the lyrics laid out on the paper.

“Well you have all you need to get started with. I’m looking forward to what you put together" he smiles before he leaves the room closing the door behind him.

I look around and find the computer and insert the USB I play the song titled ‘Last Farewell’ I put it on repeat and walk over to the girls.

“Hello I’m Y/N” I properly introduced myself “Let’s get started. We only have a week before we present it to YG and the guys despite Lunas harsh attitude she nods and we sat on the floor with the paper open to figure out who sings what verse.

“well looks like the writers request you sing these verses.” Alice points to handwriting beside some verses

“Was that necessary  Ji…if you want that part let me know they nod and we chose our lines. Practiced it took a few hours to get the right pace and lines properly distributed.

“That’s good.” We all did a mini celebration once we got the lines right

“Ya…Y/N your not all that bad..” Luna starts saying “I thought that because you practiced with them you might have been more…well….snooty. but your not you even let Alice take one of the lines Ji wanted you to sing. Well what I’m trying to say…is sorry"

“you don’t need to say sorry I misjudged you as well Luna your very hardworking”

“YAY GIRL BONDING!” Alice shouts making us all laugh.

“Did you what to stop here? You guys probably need to go home.”  I look at the clock and it was 10pm

“nah my parents understand. And we live in the dorms here so we don’t absolutely need to go home right now. We can wait till your brother gets here” Luna and Alice smile at me

“Okay well we can figure out some of the choreography while we wait.” I get up from the floor and stretch  and position ourselves in front of the mirror.

I wonder what’s going on over there are they getting along. Did they linked the song?

So much running through my mind I was brought back by a snack in the back of the head “Ya! Not so hard!” I look to the culprit

“You need to get your head in the game!” Youngbae  teased “Stop thinking about girls!” I run after YB but he escapes

“guys come on let’s finish. Then we can check in on Y/N” I look at the clock after Dae settled us down again 10:30 

After a half an hour of figuring out the choreo we fall to the floor. “when’s our show?” Seungri asked

“2 weeks we don’t have to perfect it right now.. but I want to get the timing of the moves right” I huff catching my breath.

Daesung grabs a towel to dry his face then grabs his bag “Ya wait for us everyone else scatters to grab their bags and runs after Dae.

We get to the door I hear the song playing I couldn’t help but to smile. All 5 of us peek in the door. I saw Y/N instructing on some moves they could do the other two easily following along.

We retract from the door “is it me or are they a little to  in sync…” I scratch my head

“oooohhhhh is someone jealous that she’s getting along with others?” I hear YB behind me

“No.” I pout “just means they are serious about debuting and less time for us"

“That’s the point. Ji I heard my sister say quietly to herself. ‘If it means I’m out of the way I’ll do it.’ Meaning she’s doing this so she’s not in big bangs way she’s busying herself for us. AND she wants to try debuting"

I couldn't  argue with that at all she wanted to do it. And I told her this morning I wouldn’t stop her…

I gather my myself “Whelp time to go see my girlfriend” I say out loud all the other 4 members looked at me with surprised looks.

“What!? Oh come on it’s not like you didn’t know I liked her..”

“That’s a given Ji but you just said girlfriend.. does that mean” YB,TOP and Seungri get closer to me. I look at Daesung and he seems to be holding his words back.

It seemed he wanted to say something against our relationship. But couldn’t for some reason.

“Alright alright get off me” I shove them off and enter the room. The others follow in closely. The girls didn’t notice is enter the other stayed in the back while I snuck up behind Y/N

I quickly grab her waist and lift her up in the air “WOAH!” She wobbles “Ya let me down" she begs. I bring her down slowly and she turns to me almost shocked I was in front of her.

“ya what are you doing here?!”  she hugs me the others stop and look towards the back

“Omg all of big bang is here” Alice and lulu look at the back in shock

I look over ji and see Dae in the back pouting what did you say to my brother to put him in that state?” I point to Dae ji looks and chuckles

“I kind of might have said that you were my girlfriend I front of him.. he must be in denial”  I smile at ji then run over to my brother he happily hugs me.

I look to Alice and Lulu “Alice and Lu come over here and meet the guys!” they looked surprised but ran over to me

“you probably don’t need me to say names but this is Seungri, TOP, Youngbae, Daesung and Jiyong” they shake hands and it brought the girls into fan girl mode.

The guys seemed abit shocked. “Get used to it guys because when you get bigger a lot more girls will be like that.” I laugh

“can we see what you put together?” Seungri asks but I shake my head no

“you will in a week no sneak peeks  until then then.” They all nod. I turn to Luna and Alice “you guys have room in the dorm for 1 more right?” Lulu nods

“yea it’s a two bedroom and 2 bunk beds” I nod

“Oppa tomorrow I’ll stay in the dorms. That way you don’t have to drive me back and forth Dave nods and Pat’s my head
“My sister in serious mode I better not get in her way. But for tonight Mom and dad want to spend it with you"

“okay then let’s go home"

“and if I say I wanted her tonight?” Ji hugs me from behind

“to bad lover boy but parents come first. You two can have your date some other time" Dae peels Ji off of me making Ji pout giving me the puppy eyes

“Sorry Ji my parents call I have to go see them I haven’t been home since…” I stop

“okay okay okay” Ji stops me from saying anything more and hugs me I force a smile towards him.
“okay get your things we are leaving"  Dae pushes me towards my things.

“Alright Y/N see you tomorrow!” Alice and Lulu leave the room and head to the dorms. The others leave on their own except Ji he stayed with me and Dae until I got into Daesung’s car

“Bye Ji" I wave at him as we left the parking lot

“its been a while since I’ve been home it kinda feels strange" I say to Daesung who focuses on the road

“it’s okay y/n if you cant sleep let me know” I nod and stay quiet for the rest of the ride home.


I barely got in the door before mom nearly toppled me over in a big hug.

“mom I cant breathe" I say between gasps

“honey I’m so sorry for leaving you alone. If one of us stayed home then none of this would have happened"

“Mom! Don’t say that. How many times before have you guys left me and things were fine. No one would have thought that this would happen” I calm her down

“ummm mom?” it kinda feels weird calling her mom now but she has been mom to me for years I cant stop calling her that now.

“Yes dear?” she smiles that bright smile just like daes. He definitely got his smile from his mother.

“well tomorrow on I’ll be staying in a dorm..” mom looks at me almost frozen then looks at Dae

“mom she wants to join a debut group and the group is practicing a song to test their teamwork so it might not be for a long time. And still I got half a say in your debut so do well okay" he messes my hair up again. And mom nods

“its family night then. We haven’t had one in forever. Let’s play games and watch movies.” Mom gets herself hyped up Dae wasn’t any help at all. while dad and I shake our heads.

Tonight I’ll definitely remember for a long time.
