(You)

Morning came all too soon. I know I have to ask him about it....But I don't know what to say... how do just bring something like that up? Maybe I could just prove I know without saying anything?...yeah I like that plan... now I just need to find Vince...where could he be. Hmmmmm.....

(Vince)

I saw the face she was making. She was thinking super deeply about something. Whatever it was eventually a super small smile came to her face like she had a plan. I wonder what she's thinking about but I'm not going to force her to talk.

Since I was by the kitchen any way I decided to make a piece of toast....or twenty....I think I have a toast problem....oh well, I don't care.

I put the toast in the toaster and waited for it to toast. I was so focused on the glorious food being made before my eyes that I didn't notice Y/n sneaking up on me. Out of nowhere, I felt her arms wrapping around me from my back, her face pressed against it. Before I could question her she said something I've only been able to imagine.

Y/n- Despite everything you've done in your dark past, I would forgive you if you asked. And until you do I will be right here for you. Because I always have and will, love you...

Those words made all of my sturdy walls shatter. Every held back memory of those kids. And every bit of emotion I had came spilling out. For the first time since Y/n had come home and for the first time since she left...I really cried, no....I cried more than I ever have. The feeling of her forgiving me for being the monster I am, and the feeling of knowing she loves me back, broke me.

No longer did I have the ability to speak. I just stood there in her embrace. Slowly I worked up the will to turn around to face her. She had a small number of tears on her cheeks and she had such a forgiving and happy smile.

Tears flowed from my eyes even faster. Shakily I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her into a tight hug. I never wanted to let go, and neither did she. Slowly we sank to the floor, toast forgotten, and she just held me as I cried, remembering what I did.

(Flashback)

My father took me into work with him like he always did. My mother was gone, and I had no siblings. My aunt and uncle had died before I was born, and my grandfather disowned my father. So it was just me and him.

Normally he would leave me to my own devices while he did his day shifts, and when he had the nightshift I would be stuck at home. But this time... It was different.

Michael- Hey Vincent, do you want to help me with work today?

Child Vince- I can help?

Michael- Of course! You just need to befriend 4 children and just before the pizzeria closes you can invite them to that back room for some cake with Freddy! Doesn't that sound fun?

V- Yeah!

I then befriended five different children instead of the four dad wanted, because two of them were brothers. The brothers liked Freddy, The girl liked Chica, another boy liked Foxy, and the other boy liked Bonnie. Overall, I found a pretty good group to hang out with.

We played for a couple hours, and then I noticed my dad wave me over to invite them.

V- Hey! My dad works here and says if we go to the back room we can get cake from Freddy!

Chica and Bonnie- Awesome!

Foxy- I don't know... sounds fishy.

Freddy- I agree.

V- Trust me! My dad doesn't lie!

Oh how wrong I was. The children all followed, and the door was locked behind us.
