~Warning kinda sad chapter~

(Back to u 3 years in the future)

Mike now will forever have that scar on his head. For his birthday I had gotten him a beanie to cover it. He really liked that. Back to now though.

Sadly my Mom had gotten a job in another state. That means I'd have to leave my best friends! I don't want to go but I have no choice... How am I going to tell them?

We moved today and I have no idea how to tell them.

Vincent and I were hanging out at the park, just the two of us. I want to tell him but... I just don't know what to say. Out of those in our group, the two of us were the closest. His dad was pretty absent, so most days he would be over at my place for breakfast before school. My Mom makes the best toast, and he seems to love it.

We were just on the swings. Neither of us has said anything after our conversation died. Vince finally spoke up after a while, thankfully, as the silence was starting to bother me.

V- Hey Y/n? I have something for you, so close your eyes.

Y/N- Okay?

I closed my eyes and felt him put something around my neck, and something on my wrist. It felt warm like it's been in his pocket all day.

V- Okay, open.

When I opened my eyes I first looked at my wrist. On it was a simple charm bracelet with a toast charm clipped in the middle. Looking down to my soon to be developing chest I noticed I was also wearing a matching charm necklace. From the look of it, he had to of made it himself because I've never seen a charm like this in any of the stores in town.

Y/N- Wow! It's beautiful!

V- The rest of the guys all also have charms to put on the bracelet, but they want to do it in person.

Y/N- What's the occasion? It's not my birthday or anything...

Vincent gave a deep sigh and looked in my eyes.

V- Y/N, we know you are moving. Your Mom told us when we noticed her packing stuff from the garage into boxes.

I started tearing up and gave Vince a big hug. This was a parting gift... Like my memories with them, I will treasure it forever.

Vince kept holding me till I eventually calmed down. Once I did, he wiped my tears and lead me to where we were meeting the others.

V- Come on. Let's go so you can say goodbye to everyone else.

Y/N O-okay. Thank you.

We met up with the others at an ice cream place across from Freddy. PG was the first to see me.

PG- Y/N!

The guys all turned around and gave me hugs. Fritz and Jeremy were crying, I couldn't tell about PG's face but his voice and magical phone head eyebrows showed he was trying to be tough. Vince was trying his best not to tear up as well, as was Mike who had made the choice to be the tough guy of the group.

Y/N- Don't worry guys, as soon as I'm old enough I will come back. Nowhere is truly home without you guys. And besides! Mom just got me a phone so I can keep in touch with all of you!

Mike and PG were the only ones with cellphones/headphones at the moment, but they could keep me in touch with the others.

They all hugged me tighter. I could barely breathe but I couldn't let them go. I needed to be with them as long as I could.

We all sat down, ordered our ice cream, and talked about whatever we could to forget for at least a little bit that I was leaving. Each of the boys also put a charm on my bracelet. Every charm was handmade and represented each of my precious friends.
