*Binnie's pov*
I apologized to the older man when I accidentally bumped into his shoulder. He just scowled at me and rushed off.
The streets were quite empty at this time in the morning, yet I always managed to bump into at least 2 people.
Silence surrounded me as I turned the street, preparing to take the long way to school so I wouldn't have to sit in class and cause problems.
I checked the time on my cracked phone and slowly stopped walking. I had about 40 minutes, and the walk took about 15 on the long route, so I decided to sit down.
The sidewalk was slightly damp from previous rain, and I took my jacket off so I could sit on it.
I sighed and looked around, glad that nobody took this street to walk to school.
A sudden flutter off to my right caused me to jump and slam my elbow into the wall I was leaning against.
"Aish," I muttered as I rubbed my elbow and looked to see what startled me.
I scoffed at myself and rolled my eyes. "A leaf. A damn leaf?"
Taking that as a sign to move on, I stood up and dusted off my jacket, slipping my backpack over my shoulder and walking further down the street.
Suddenly, I heard a light humming coming from around the corner, so I paused and listened.
The song was very familiar to me, in fact, my favorite song, "Butterfly" by BTS.
The voice was very soft and beautiful, and I would've kept listening if the person hadn't rounded the corner and started heading straight towards me.
Taking a breath and slipping into the tiny alley, concealed by the darkness, I waited for the person to pass.
For a second, I thought they saw me, but they; he, actually, a very beautiful he, must have been looking down, because I was passed without even a slight look up.
"God that was close," I sighed and slippied out of the alley, looking back just in time to see him cross the street and walk behind the view of a building.
He must go to my school, cause he was heading that direction.
I shrugged and continued on my long path, not caring to be bothered anymore.
*about 20 min later*
I walked into the school and stayed close to the wall, careful not to get in anybody's path until I reached my locker.
While shoving my backpack into my locker, I grabbed my first period books and spun on my heel, heading in the direction of my first class.
The walk to class was uneventful, of course, until I turned the corner.
My head came in contact with somebody's chin, being my head was down.
I slightly stumbled back and let my books fall, giving an excuse to stay away from class longer.
"I'm sorry," I muttered as I looked up, coming face to face with the boy I had met earlier. Well, not really "met", but you know what I mean.
My eyes widened as I took in his features. Up close he was even prettier. His eyes were so shiny, and his lip were so ki- I mentally slapped myself and looked down.
"Sorry," I mumbled again and bent down to grab my books.
I heard a snicker come from him as he bent down and began to help gather my things, holding them out to me.
