"You're late." The teacher looks at me from her desk. I glare back at her.
"You're still my least favorite teacher. I'm glad we have our stories straight, and you should be happy I even showed up to this damn class in the first place." I growl, heading to my seat in the back. As I pass her desk she holds out a detention slip which I ignore, and walk by.
I walk to my seat and sit down, my hair sweeping across my face. I look around to see a girl with short blonde hair, and light blue eyes starring widely at me.
"Is there something wrong?" I snarl, her head snaps to look to the front of the class, then down at her desk. I smirk and put my legs up on top of the empty desk next to me. I zone out the teacher as I think about my morning.
I walk out of my bedroom and into my brother's room. The air is thick, and foggy; making it hard to see.
"Adam I'm going to school, I will see you later. Stay here, you can't go out high." I wave my hand in front of my face; the smell was starting to get to me already. I hear a groan from my older sibling, and I walk out of the room; closing the door behind me.
My brother decided college wasn't for him about a year ago, now he stays at home, gets high, and causes my dad and my life to be a living hell. Well, more of a living hell than it already was. I walk downstairs and head right outside. I walk over to my car and lean against the door. I watch as people pass by, heading to school. I look up to see our neighbor helping her son into the car. We have always lived beside them, but I have no idea who they are. I do know that the kid goes to my school, but I've never seen him before. Sure that may be because I spend more time in the back of my school smoking cigarettes and punching assholes than I do inside a fucking classroom; but there was also something keeping the kid away from me. The mother gets into the driver's seat, and they slowly pulls out of the driveway. I shake my head and get into my car. I grip the steering wheel, staring into the review mirror. My eyes don't focus on anything, they just see blurry figures. I close my eyes slowly, and turn on the car. Pressing play on the CD player; Nirvana blasts through the speakers. I sigh, and light a cigarette. I take a drag and pull out of my driveway. Heading to school I watch all of the families and friends walking. I live fairly close to my school, so a lot of people tend to walk to school, but I prefer driving; that way I can leave quicker. I pull into the high school parking lot, and drive in a circle slowly. People watch as I go bye, my music invading their stupid conversations. I smirk as a group of girls shriek when I pull up in front of them. The head bitch stomps her feet and yells at me.
"You could have killed us!" she screams, her eyes widen as she sees who she yelled at. Her friends gasp, and they all scamper off. I shake my head and pull up to a parking space near the exit. As I get out of my car I watch my neighbor drive off. She keeps her eyes on the road, but I stare at her until she is out of my line of sight. I take one more drag out of my cigarette, and flick it towards a passing car. I hold my head up and walk towards the entrance of the school. People look up as I come closer, they all split apart; not wanting to keep me from entering.
I come up to the door, and walk inside my private hell. People in the halls press against the walls when they see me, I smirk at their reactions. Everyone had moved except for one person. A boy with a beanie, and hoodie on is slowly walking down the hall way. He takes a careful step, his head was down, his arms were at his sides; with his hands out as if to keep from bumping into something. I walk straight towards him, knowing I plan on simply scaring him. I walk slightly behind him, and then bump into his shoulder. He trips, and nearly falls.
