"Shiro, get down!" I cried as I immediately locked the main door before any member of them can come in and kill us.
There were the sound of bombs a little far from where Shiro and I lived. Hundreds of creaking houses, and thousands of agony and pain are the only things that are capable of giving us the trauma. And locking the door was the only way I could think of keeping us safe, somehow.
"Kuya *sniff*.." said Shiro, crying while she gripped harder on her favorite rabbit toy..
"Ah!"
I exclaimed after hearing a blast of wizardly bomb spell near the side gate of our house..
"Let's go!"
We headed to the underground where I though will be somehow safer than to guard down the main door..
Dizziness and hunger almost killed me..
But what's more important is Shiro..
The only family left for me..
She cried as if it's all a nightmare, but what's happening now is more than the pitchness of the night.
Clashes of bombs, Death spells..
Moans and screams of tortured civilians..
Clashing swords of the brute barbarians..
As the savage group of the Crawling Chaos trespassed and reprobated sympathy amongst us weary and frail people.
They came ready with arms, potions and threats..
Just like what the old Yogen said.
The both of us were breathing heavily from fright as we get to jold each other..
Wrapping our arms together..
As we heard none after a last clangorous scream of a lady..
It was a sign that everybody was dead, and only us were still alive..
*Bang!*
"Kuya.."
"Shh. Shiro.."
The door I locked minutes ago was crushed by the mystic spell of the wizard.
Shiro almost cried as I covered her mouth to stop her from sobbing loudly. We might get caught.
Few steps away and they could be anywhere standing towards the door where the underground is..
"Come out, come out little princess!" It was a voice of an Ogre.
But wait, princess?..
So they're after Shiro?!
I felt even more frightened when I realized it was Shiro they headed for..
But I can't make that happen.
Never..
They need to get through me fir--
*Bang!*
"There you are little bugs!" The Ogre said.
They entered the underground as I placed Shiro behind me.
"Stay away from us!"
I said, trying to put a bulwark on my frightened face as I point them the tanto sword that was given by our father to protect us from these gangs.
The Ogre and his other Knight fellows laughed with disgrace and went nearer..
And nearer..
My heart never skipped a loud thump whenever they take steps forward.
"Kuya..." Shiro said..
"Hold on Shiro.." I replied, trying to comfort her.
I took a step backwards when the Ogre was standing infront of me.
"You want a spank, little Koizumi?" He threatened me but I stayed still.
"You won't get to touch her!" I shouted at him and swung my tanto swords. But he immediately caught my wrists with his bare green hands and hit me.
I flew right out of the corner of the room as he hit me hard again.
I stood up with all of the strength left in me. But I only managed to stand up with my knees shaking.
"Want another one, little Koizumi?"
I was a little deaf and dizzy that I didn't get to hear him clearly.
But when I saw the Knights marching to get Shiro, a power has enlightened my body and enriched my soul as it gave me the outmost energy to release the Apophis Dragon spirit.
I felt my eyes gleamed..
Pure red...
My body, it was covered with the dragon's spirit..
But before I could protect Shiro..
The Wizard has already sealed me by his spell and weakened me inside it.
The Ogre took advantage of me being weak.
He threw and hit me many times until I almost lost consciousness..
Shiro..
"Ketsueki!!"
