Dear Wyatt,
A trailer for IT popped up on my computer. I'd be lying if I said I didn't know you were in it. I remember the day I heard our moms were talking on the phone. She said that I wasn't supposed to know because you wanted to surprise me. Every time you were in town, I would practice a surprise face for when you broke the news to me. But you never did.
Today I sat eagerly waiting for the video to load. Pain surged through my chests I saw your face appear several times o the screen. I wanted to congratulate you on your film and write up a paragraph on how you have a bright future laid out for you. But then I realized there was no need. You probably cringe at the thought of my presence and the sight of my well wishes. But who needs the appreciation of an ex best friend, when you have the attention of millions of girls, willing to do anything to catch your eye.
