Dear Wyatt,

Toady Haley came back from college. She came into my room and we watched My Girl. I was in the middle of crying when Haley asked about you. I laughed. She seemed taken back by my actions. We sat in silence before she asked me what happened. She thinks we're being dramatic. Real friends argue, then make up. It's life. She thinks that in a week or two, we'll be friends again. I don't believe her though.

I told her about your crush on her. I told her about all the times we would talk about her, and how every time I would criticize her, you would come to her defense. We laughed about it all. She told me that when we first started hanging out, she thought we'd end up dating. In all honesty, I thought so too. Haley told me that she always wanted me and Finn to date, but then you ruined everything by becoming my friend. I almost died of laughter at the thought of me and Finn dating. I love Finn with all my heart, but it'd never work out.

At the end of the movie, she told me I should call you. I almost did. I dialed your number three times. Once I realized you'd never pick up, I scratched your name off my paper. Remember my paper? The paper with my 7 contacts. It was my 12th birthday when i got my peach colored rotary phone. I was so excited. I got teased over it, but I didn't care, because I finally had a phone, and now I could call you for hours on end. But now I realize theres no need for that. Because now I'm all alone. And loners don't have friends to call.
