Dear Wyatt,
Finn came. He dragged me out of my hibernation session. We went to the LA County fair. It was the most fun I've had in a long time. When you ended our friendship, you shoved me into a spiraling pit of unhappiness, that for the longest time, I couldn't get out of. But I had to realize that you shouldn't be the one to control my happiness. You shouldn't be the one controlling my life. You shouldn't be the one keeping me from the outside world. Whether or not I am happy should be my choice, not yours.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss you. The whole time we were at the fair I thought I saw you. I would run away from every curly haired man I saw. When we went on the ferris wheel, I lost it. I broke down telling Finn how much I missed you. How much I missed our friendship. I could see the pain in Finns eyes. He hated seeing me unhappy. And he hated even more the fact that he couldn't do anything about it. He had to just let me 'let it all out.'
The rest of the day was pretty cill. We just watched a movie as I laid in his arms. The whole thing was completely platonic, but it didn't stop me from wondering what the future has in store for me. If we would become an item. The whole concept freaked me out. But who knows, maybe the end of our friendship was the beginning of a new me.
