   After Victor had left We entered into a room that overlooked part of the training room. As I looked down, I saw Blaze and another trainee practicing together. She would throw a fireball at him as he would turn into metal, he would then go offense by charging over and trying to slam a few punches, she would then quickly swerve to the side, barely dodging his left hook. Then pushing up on his shoulders she quickly wrapped her legs around his neck and then she started to blast him with blue flames. Later that evening, when it was dinner time and everyone had grabbed their food, Illusion stood up to speak.

"Alright everyone we have a new recruit, and her name is Scarlett. Tomorrow she will begin initiation and if she succeeds with the first step we will need to prepare tomorrow for the next step. Thank you. You may continue." When it was around ten everyone started to head for their rooms. When I had finally settled under the covers I heard Blaze' s voice say,

"So are you nervous about tomorrow? Because I know I was." She said.

"Yeah I am a little. I have been on many missions working for the C.I.A. but none of them were anything like this. So before you joined Kogot what did you do for a living? "

"I-l l lived with my parents." She lied.

"OK." I could tell that she had lied but I figured it wasn't that important plus whatever it was I figured it wasn't all that bad. I woke up early that morning feeling refreshed. I looked over at Blaze's bed and saw that she was still sleeping. I quickly got dressed and looked at the time, seeing it was five a.m. I figured most people wouldn't be up till five thirty. I walked down a hallway and then reached the door to training center. I kept punching the training dummy trying to forget Russia. I suddenly drop to a crouched position whipping my extended leg and body around I see the guy that was behind me flip missing my leg and land perfectly on his feet. I look at him. He's about six feet tall and has brown hair and brown eyes.

"Do you have something to say?" He asks. I then realize I was just staring at him looking like a total idiot. I blush.

"You just caught me off guard is all. I'm Scarlett Petrov, as I'm sure you've heard."

"Good to meet you Scarlett. And my name is , by the way. It sure didn't seem like to me that you were caught off guard."

"Bolt? Like a fastening bolt?" I say.

"No. Bolt like as in a lightening Bolt." As he says that he creates a small lightning bolt. "So are you nervous?"

"A little bit but not too much. Were you?"

"No, not at all." He jokes. We then heard people starting to leave their rooms and fill the hallway making their way to the training center. Everyone starts training either punching, lifting or other exercises. I see Blaze spot me and then she starts to make her way towards me.

"Hey Scarlett where were you this morning?" She asks.

"Oh I was just punching the dummy." I nod in the direction of the dummy I had been punching earlier.

"Well, I need to head up to the control room. Althrik needs me." Bolt says as he heads up the stairs. I look back at Blaze with her mouth forming an o shape.

"What?" I say.

"What did Bolt have to say to you? Were you ever so slightly punching the dummy wrong or something?"

"No... He was simply just introducing himself and I kind of tried to swipe him off his feet also."

"Introducing himself! HA!!! That's funny joke if I ever heard one!! And why were you trying to knock him off his feet?"

"I just kind of did it out of instinct I guess."

"Alright everyone listen up it's time for Scarlett's initiation she will choose an opponent and after she chooses that she chooses the weapon of her choice, which she may alter to her liking. You may begin." Althrik says. I scan the crowd looking for that as I like to call him, when I find him I say,

"I would like him as my opponent." I hear a few oohs and ahs. Blaze then leans in and whispers in my ear; "You do realize that everyone who has tried to defeat him has lost. It's not too late to choose someone else."

"I know, but there's a first for everything." I look at my weapon choices, I find the siren and I start to take it apart altering a few wires and tossing some things that aren't of use for it anymore.

"Ok finished and I'm ready. I think." I say. I step into the fighting ring and get I into a fighting stance, I see him do the same. I hear the horn go off signaling us to begin. He charges straight at me turning into metal. I duck down right as he swung his fist at me then I feel a blow straight to the shoulder knocking me over. I quickly get up and run at him suddenly moving to the left placing the siren on his neck and then right as I'm about to turn it on he turns to face me I quickly flip over him turning on the siren at the same time. I run as far away in the ring as I can, look back as I see him scrunched on the ground with electricity crackling all over him. Then it stops and he is normal again and knocked out. I check for a pulse just to make sure he's still alive. I now hear a few claps and hollering. I walk over to where everyone else is standing and Blaze tells me,

"Well I guess you were right. And by the way how did you know what his power was?"

"Oh I saw you and him fighting yesterday. That's how I knew." The rest of the day flies by. Althrik pulls me aside to tell me that they will start the rest of my initiation the beginning of next week.
