1 month, 1 week and four days. I'm still in pain, but not as much, which made me able to go to work today. So I had my regular daily routine, walking out this morning I went out and saw Rebol; while walking to breakfast I told him that I have something I want to discuss with him, but he would probably want to talk about it in his room since Jesgel told me I would have to talk to him about it. He simply nodded and said, "Okay, I'll meet you at my quarters and cook you dinner after work."

I nodded and we walked into the cafeteria, ate breakfast, and had our normal conversations, although Rebol seemed almost anxious, probably about what I'm gonna ask him later. He walked me to the infirmary, and he put the back of his hand on my forehead, leaning forward for me to the same.

When we were done "hugging" I went in and Justin came up to me and said, "Hey! You doing any better?"

"Yeah I still have cramps, but not as bad as yesterday," I smiled.

"Good, your mom's been worried."

"Wait... you told her?"

"Liv, she's your mom, of course I'm gonna tell her!"

I sighed, "Fine... I'll go see her and show her I'm fine, I'm sure she's worried sick, which isn't helping her condition..."

Justin kinda chuckled and patted me on the shoulder saying, "you go do that, I'm gonna start on my patients." I rolled my eyes, that's one of the many things Josh and Justin have in common, they love to tease, but it's only ever out of love.

Anyway, I walked over to my mom. "Hey mom, how are you feeling?"

"I should be the one asking you that!" She said sitting up as soon as she heard my voice.

"Mom I'm fine," I said sitting on the bed, trying to reassure her.

"Honey, falling off a chair because you're in pain doesn't count as "fine"." Yes she did air quotes.

"Oh... you heard about that bit too huh...?"

"Mmmhm" she hummed, nodding.

"Okay, so maybe I wasn't okay for a few minutes, but Rebol brought me a thing of muscle relaxants so I was and am fine."

"Ooooh! Rebol, huh?" She said, wiggling her eyebrows. I blush and just stick my tongue out at her, and she just laughs which made me smile. She doesn't laugh much anymore because she's so weak, but she seems to have a little extra energy today. "Speaking of Rebol, how's that going?" She asked.

"Pretty good, we read together almost everyday after dinner. We just finished one of his favorites, and are gonna start a new one today after we talk."

"Oh? What are you going to talk about?" She asked, with an expression I couldn't quite read.

"Remember when we first came on the ship and Rebol didn't know what blushing was?" She nods, "Well the other day, when I was talking with him, he ended up blushing, but apparently it's not blushing at all, and I have to talk with Rebol about it for some reason because Jesgel won't tell me..."

"Liv, thats a large part of their culture, privacy is everything to them."

"I know...." I sighed.

"So, how are Josh and Justin doing? has my son grown a pair yet?" she said changing the subject.

I laughed, she always knew how to cheer me up. "No, I wish he would though." She laughed and I got up, "well I should probably get back to work, I'll talk to you later mom." I kissed her forehead and she smiled while waving goodbye as I left to go to work with the Hilyuomjec.
