You, Nagito, and Ibuki all walked down the street, sharing laughs and memories that would last a lifetime. As you guys were heading to Ibuki's house, you stopped at a gas station to get some snacks. You grabbed a bunch of candy, Ibuki grabbed a bag of chips, and Nagito grabbed two 2-leaders of Doctor Hopper. He must really like that type of soda you thought. You guys all checked out, Nagito paying for it. You went to refuse, saying you'd chip in and help pay. Nagito refused tho, saying it was the least he could do. When you left the store, you continued on your way to Ibuki's house.

Once you all got there, Ibuki showed you the kitchen and where the bowls were and left to start up the PS4, leaving you and Nagito alone to get the snacks together. You grabbed the chips and opened the bag, pouring it into the bowl. Instead of putting all the candy into its own bowl, Nagito just watched you with a small smile on his face. You looked up at him, looking into his eyes. He seemed worried, yet contently happy.

"Hey Nagito are you ok...? You've seemed a bit worried since we've brought up the idea of hanging out and me calling you a friend. What's up?" You asked him. His smile vanished as he looked away.

"Oh umm... It's just... My luck can sometimes... be bad." He said, closing his eyes. You looked at him, confused.

"What do you mean..?" He scratched the back of his neck as he opened his eyes and looked at you.

"My luck can sometimes... cause really unfortunate things to happen and..." You noticed tears started filling up in his eyes. "And I don't want anything bad to happen to you!" You looked at him, shocked as tears starting falling down his cheeks.

"Come here." You said, gesturing him into a hug. Surprisingly, he quickly hugged you with no hesitation. You closed your eyes as you hugged back. You each held a friendly, tight hug, his tears dampening your shirt as he cried onto you. He sniffed as he started talking.

"You're so kind...! So hopeful...! You have so much hope! I couldn't have anyone better for a best friend... a first ever friend!" Hearing those words caused your eyes to open wide. First friend. Those words repeated over and over in your head. You smiled, nuzzling into his chest, closing your eyes again.

"I can't believe someone has amazing as you has never had any friends! Don't worry, if it was your bad luck scaring people away, it won't scare me away. I'll never leave you..." You couldn't see his face, but you could tell he was smiling and that his tears have stopped. You stood there for a minute. All that was left was silence and you two hugging, enjoying each other's company. You snuggled into him more, causing you two to giggle a little. He had his head resting on yours now, nuzzling into your hair a little. His hold on you comfortably tightened.

You never wanted this to end, and neither did Nagito.

All of a sudden, you two heard a phone camera go off.

"Ibuki ships it!!!" She yelled.

You two instantly opened your eyes and let go of each other, looking at Ibuki and blushing.

"I-Ibuki?! H-How long were you there?!" You said, stuttering from embarrassment.

"Ibuki just got here! She just saw you hugging and took and opportunity!"

"Ok so you didn't hear anything..." Nagito said, sounding a little relieved. "So... You took a picture of us...?"

"Yep yep!" Ibuki replied cheerfully.

"Let me see it please."

Nagito walked over to Ibuki. As she showed him the photo, he smiled slightly, taking the phone from her and pressing some buttons. That looked like a genuine simile you thought. This caused you to smile.

"What are you doing with Ibuki's phone?" Ibuki asked him.

"Oh, nothing. Just sending it to myself..." he trailed off as Ibuki's eyes looked like they had stars in them. W-What?! W-Why would he want that?! ...He probably wants it cause I'm his first friend... Yeah. That's it. There's no way he likes me. You turned around and put all the candy in a different bowl and turned back to Ibuki as Nagito was still using her phone.

"Hey, Ibuki, where are the cups?"

"Oh! Oh! Ibuki knows! She'll show you!" She said as she walked over and got the cups from the cupboard. Nagito gave Ibuki her phone back and grabbed the soda as you grabbed the bowls and Ibuki with cups. Without a word, you all walked to where Ibuki had her PS4. She had a drum set, guitar, and microphone set up for Rock Band. Well, she is the Ultimate Musician you thought, smiling. She had set up a table, put a chair behind the drum set, and then there was a couch. Well, a love seat. Only enough room for two people to sit down on it. You all set the snacks down on the table and turned to the PS4.

"So...!" Ibuki started. "Who wants to play what?!"
