The Life of the Paul kids

Jake's Day

Erika POV 

My babies are now 4 week old and me, Tessa, Savannah, Emma, Ava, and the babies are going to go on a girls trip plus 3 boys because they are still too young and we have to breastfeed them. It's currently 6:00 and I am up with the boys who are not into getting any sleep today, while on the other hand Jake is snoring his little head off. 

E: Guys please go to sleep, mama is tired and she needs her sleep. 

Jake soon walks up to the door 

J: what are you doing up so early 

E: they wouldn't go back to sleep why are you up 

J: I was about to hit the gym but I can take care of them and you can get some sleep 

E: that would be great you know since you slept all FUCKING night long 

J: babe I got up 2 times 

E: yeah out of like 8 

J: dang am I that heavy of a sleeper 

E: I guess but you can take these two and go downstairs I pumped two bottles so if they get hungry feed them those and I will be getting some much needed sleep

J: ok love you 

E: love you too 

They peck lips and then Erika goes to bed and Jake takes the boys downstairs. 

J: alright little ones lets see if dada can't get you guys down for a nap 

Paxton starts to cry 

J: ok ok I'm sorry here you go 

Jake gives him a pacifier and he stops Jake lays him in the bassinet by the couch and then does the same to Ashton and within minutes they are both asleep.

J: All they wanted was some daddy loving, but I am going to go workout so I need you two to stay asleep for as long as possible please so you don't wake mama up. 

Jake sets up the baby monitor and then he goes to the gym turning them up as loud as they will go. He starts his workout and the boys start crying 40 minutes later but he doesn't hear them so he keeps working out. Erika the other hand does hear them so she gets up and walks downstairs to see Ashton and Paxton are both crying their eyes out

E:aww baby boys whats wrong 

Erika gives Paxton a pacifier and he stops. She  picks him up but he is still crying so she puts a pacifier in his mouth and he starts to whine. 

E: did dada leave you guys for the gym. Well guess what dada is in big trouble when he gets back in here. But I got a feeling that you are hungry so we shouldd feed you guys. How bout that. 

Erika sits on the couch and starts to geed the babies. While she is Jake comes back in 

J: crap were they crying 

E: crap is right Jake, they had been crying for 5 minutes before I came down here Jake. You were supposed to be watching them not working out. 

J: I'm sor- 

E: shut it Jake just go get the kids up and take them to daycare please 

J: ok 

Jake POV 

I knew I fucked up the second I saw her feeding them. I was supposed to be helping her out but I just fucked up and she had to get back out of bed and come down here to feed them. God I better not screw up for the rest of the day. I walk into Ava's room and wake her up so I can get her ready for preschool today. She had been going for 3 weeks now and is doing better each day.
