They all gathered around Sadie who was on the ground, clutching her ankle.

"Quick! We have to get her to the hospital!" Millie shouted.

The next morning they all paced around the waiting room until the doctor called them in. Apparently she's gotten a fracture in her ankle when she fell while playing. He had put a cast on her and for at least a few days, asked her to stay in bed. They all smiled after realizing she was okay.

They brought her back to her room in the beach house and got her into bed. Tears rolled down her cheeks, "I am sorry for ruining your vacation guys," Sadie said quietly.

"Are you kidding me?" Noah said, "We're sorry this happened to you!"

"Don't worry, you'll be up and running in no time!" added Caleb.

Just then, Millie's cell phone began ringing and they could her angrily talking, when she returned Gaten asked what had happened.

"It was the Duffers. They had made a scheduling mistake. Our hair stylists are coming tomorrow for the show for the first shooting. They want us back by tonight..." Millie answered.

"But, Sadie can't go anywhere! The doctor said the first few days are critical to healing," Finn said.

Millie's pout turned into a smirk, "Actually, Finnie. You and Sadie will be staying here. You two don't change your hair much for the show anyway, and the Duffers want Sadie fully recovered. It's just Noah, Caleb, Gaten and I that have to go back."

Sadie's eyes widened. "No, it's fine really. I mean it doesn't hurt anymore, and I don't want to slow the progress of the show. You all should go."

"There's no way, we're going to leave you alone," Noah said, "Finn would be more than glad to keep you company, plus its just a matter of a few days." He turned to wink at Finn, who was unsure how to react.

Later that afternoon they all said their good byes and left.

"Have fun, buddy, but not too much fun" joked Caleb.

"Shut up." said Finn.

He returned to the chair he had set up next to Sadie's bed and pretended to busy on his phone, while she pretended to be asleep. How awkward, they were both thinking. Sadie couldn't take it anymore, "Finn! I'm not sick! My leg will heal by itself, but I feel worse that you're just sitting here! Please..." she suddenly exclaimed.

Finn looked up in surprise then smiled. "Okay, I'll be honest with you. I am kind of scared of the dark. I know, shocking, for the kid who fought Pennywise in IT. And I've seen too many abandoned beach house horror movies. So I'm only here so I don't get scared." He couldn't keep a straight face. "Okay," Sadie said laughing for the first time that day, "Whatever you say."

A few minutes later, "You must be hungry?" Finn asked. Sadie nodded. "Oh, shoot. I'm so sorry. I haven't taken care of anyone before. I'm really bad at this." He grabbed his phone to call take out. In the meanwhile, he decided to make Sadie a sandwich. "So, um, this is kind of sad, but I only know how to make PBJ sandwiches." He said. Sadie broke into a grin, "Good, that's the only type of sandwich I like." Finn returned a few minutes later with two PBJ's in hand, as well as the take out.

Sadie reached out to grab her sandwich, but winced in pain. "Ow!" Finn immediately looked up, "What is it? What happened?" "Yeah, yeah, it's just I guess when I stretch, my leg hurts." Sadie shrugged. "Oh, don't stretch then. Here, I'll feed you," Finn said, sliding into the bed next to her. A few bites later they realized just how embarrassing this was for two shy people like themselves, so Sadie prematurely said, "I'm full! Thanks Finn." Finn relieved to hear that, mumbled a "No problem," and got to cleaning up.

When he returned from the kitchen, he noticed Sadie had her eyes closed. He pulled the blanket up over her and couldn't help but notice how peaceful she looked. Without helping it, he pushed back a strand of loose hair that had fallen on to her forehead, quickly turning the light off and relieved that she was asleep. As he was about to leave, Sadie called out, "Finn?"

"Yeah?" he said, voice shaking. Had she felt that? She probably thought he was such a creep.

"Well, I have to be honest with you. I am actually scared of the dark. So if you don't mind, can you sleep in this room?" she asked. Finn held back a smile, "Sure." He went to his room, dragging back his mattress, pillow, and blanket. He camped out right next to her night stand, and called out "Good night" before turning off the lights again.

"Finn?" he heard Sadie whisper.

"Yeah?" he said.

"Thank you..."

"For what?"

"Everything. Everything."

Finn smiled in response, but realized she wouldn't be able to see him in the dark.

"No, thank you."

Both of them fell asleep shortly, feeling thankful for this beautiful day, unaware of how much more beautiful tomorrow would be.
