"We're at the First Time Park because...?"
"You're my first." I don't get it. It takes a second sometimes.
"Your first what?"
"You're my first date with a guy. You're the first person I've actually had a connection with that wasn't a girl before." He just spilled his guts.
"You're my first, too."
"Your first date with a guy?" I nod, "But you're openly gay. I don't get it."
"I'm just socially awkward a-and I'm not good with words. I'm better at writing. Saying-saying things doesn't come easily to me." As if that weren't obvious enough.
"Good. It's both our first times. This outta be interesting."
"I hope so."
