•Adrien•The officer let us in after he confirmed that I was actually Adrien Heart. Who else would want to impersonate me? Anyway, we started driving down this long, and I mean long road. It felt like we were driving for a least 15 minutes. On each side of me was a forest. I guess Angela wasn't kidding when she said they were right in the middle of the forest.
"We are almost there Adrien. Just a least 5 more minutes," she said before turning right onto a rocky road. I started to fiddle with my fingers. I tend to do that when I'm anxious or nervous. I was always bullied because of it. It just became a habit after my second foster home.
"We're here Adrien," she said calmly. She stepped out of the car before going to my backseat door and opening it for me. I stepped outside the car and looked at the magnificent house in front of me. The exterior was modern, but the house itself was amazing. The walls were made of a type of marble stone. And the windows were covering the top and bottom of the house. Seeing how big the window, I'm guessing that's how big the room is. I saw on the side of the house a balcony coming out from one of the rooms. I'm betting that's the master's room. I started to fiddle with my fingers again before Angela grabbed both of my hands tightly.
"Trust me when I say this Adrien, there's nothing to fear. This couple is choosing to adopt you. Not foster you," she said gently while still holding my hands tightly.
"How do know that they are different from the others?" I said staring at the ground.
She gazed softly at me before grabbing one of my hands and started pulling me towards the entrance.
"Trust me, Adrien. They are completely different," she said.
I trust you...I just I don't trust your judgment.
We made it to the front door and she started to ring the doorbell. I waited anxiously as we waited by the door. My heart was beating so loudly I was worried Angela could hear it.
I gasped when the door suddenly opened. I regained my composure quickly before the women could see my anxious expression.
"Oh my goodness! Are you Adrien?" the women said while looking at me.
I gulped before looking at Angela. She smiled and nodded at me to encourage me.
I took a breath before saying, "Y-yes u-um I'm Adrien Heart". I forced a smile before swearing at my stuttering. She didn't seem to mind because her smile grew bigger.
"Come in, come in," she said stepping aside so we could go in. I looked at Angela before taking a hesitant step forward. My first impression of the house was how bigger the inside was. On the outside, it looks like a decent size house, but when you step inside it looks like a whole mansion confined in here. I stared around a bit longer before I jumped slightly when I noticed the women. I blushed embarrassed. She didn't mind, once again. She motioned us to a large area. Which I'm guessing is the living room. The couch was made out of white leather and the couch ran along the corner of the living room. The window replaced the wall and you could see the outside forest. I smiled at the beauty of the home.
