I kept feeling this strange pressure inside my chest. And it wasn't going away any time soon. My senses were on high alert. Someone was watching me. And they were close. When you've been bullied like I have you get used to being on high alert when your alone. Why would someone want my atte-
"Adrien?"
I jumped slightly at the calling of my name. I blinked a couple of times to try bring back my attention on the principal aka the Alphas wife/mate I don't even know anymore.
"Sorry, Uhm..I ..just was thinking.." I shifted slightly in my seat to ease my nervousness.
"That's quite alright dear, I know this must be difficult for you. Your father told me the difficulties you have with public schools, but I can assure this community is well, and kind," she said with such gentleness, but I could sense power behind her words as well.
I gave a short nod.
I'm still anxious and nervous to be in this school. Period. I sighed lightly and looked at my father. He glanced at me and smiled. He knew what I was asking and started to speak," As Alpha Derek told you, my son is not very good at speaking to others and has a tendency to..lose focus..I just want to be sure my son will not be harmed. My generation is different from theirs so I don't know how things are run that much anymore. I want to be sure he is safe and well protected because no disrespect Luna, but I will not hesitate to kill for my son." My father had such power and promise that I started to completely relax.
"Non-taken James. You and my Dereck have been friends until the end. And I know what it's like to protect your son. I promise you that I will watch closely and keep the others in check," she gave me a smile before she looked at the time.
A knock on the office door echoed through the office. The Luna gave a quiet "come in" before looking back down at some papers. The door opened and Sylvia can in. I perked up immediately at seeing her presence. Finally, someone I'm familiar with. But why is she here?
"Good morning Luna, Mr.Sawyer, and Adrien," she gave my a smile before looking at the Luna.
"Good morning Sylvia. Adrien? Sylvia is going to be your guide today. I know Angelina is supposed to be your guide but she gave me a call and said she can not make it," huh? So that's why Sylvia's here. I'm not opposed to her being my guide, but I would've liked to see Angelina again.
"I have a few more things to discuss with your father. School doesn't start for another 20 minutes. So I thought it would be best that Sylvia shows you your locker and your first period class now instead of being bombarded by the students on your first day," she gave me a wink as I smiled her gratefully.
"Thank you..Uhm Luna," I didn't know what to call her so I just went with her pack title.
"Your welcome, oh, and by the way, please call me Crystal," I smiled and gave a curt nod before getting up and following Sylvia.

I watched as my son left with Sylvia. I was worried. I want him to get used to socializing with other people, but is this the right thing to do for him?
"I know what your thinking, James. He'll be fine, I promise," the Luna said as I gave a slight smile.
"I know it's just...am I doing the right thing? I keep worrying that this place will send him back into bad memories...," my mind went back to the time he had a panic attack talking about his last school life. That was when he had his first therapy session. The things he said, and the things they did to him. I don't want that to ever happen again. Ever. Again.
