Angel's POV
I feel dazed and like I've been hit with a ducking truck! I whimper and start to cry feeling alone and hurting all over. I keep whimpering until I feel hands on my sides and seems to sooth me, I reach out towards the hands and I feel a pair of arms lift me up onto their lap. I hear someone call my name and I just turn my head onto a warm chest and I start to slowly suck on my thumb which seems to sooth me more.
I slightly open my eyes and I see Xavier next to me and he's staring at me like he doesn't believe that I'm here. I slightly wave and cuddle further into the chest and I look up and see Xander. He looks down at me and makes a funny face making me giggle and lightly tap his chest, he leans down and kisses my forehead then asks
"how you feeling little girl?"
I giggle at the nickname and say
"good daddy"
My eyes widen after I realise what I just said and Xavier groans and grips onto the arm chair making his knuckles turn white, I whimper and whisper
"sorry..."
Xander turns me around on his lap and says
"do not be sorry little one, we're not mad, just ah, we really like it when you call us that"
He then leans down and lightly kisses my neck making me whimper and wrap my arms around his neck. Xavier lifts me up and presses his lips against mine roughly then pulls away panting and says
"okay no more little one, not until we get home"
I frown and that's when I start looking around and realize that we aren't home and we're in a hospital room, I whimper and cuddle into his chest and say
"daddy hoommeeee"
He leans down and whispers
"ssshhhh little one we'll get to go home soon"
He lays me back down on the bed and the doctor soon comes in, he smiles as he sees me awake and says
"ah angel it's good to see you up, now those marks are going to slightly change your behavior, you will still be yourself but you could find yourself maybe not acting or saying things you usually do"
I nod and Xavier asks
"okay then can we take her home now? she'll be okay?"
He nods and says
"yes she should be okay but if she starts feeling unwell within the next 2-3 weeks bring her back here so I can make sure she's okay"
The boys nod and a nurse comes in and says she's going to help me change into my other clothes but I shake my head and grab onto Xander's hand, he pulls away slightly and asks
"what's wrong baby?"
"I don't want her"
The boys look at each other and Xavier says
"you change her I'll get the car"
The nurse passes Xander my clothes and then leaves after Xavier, I turn to Xander and I lift my arms giggling and he starts to lift my shirt and says
"oh god babygirl you're going to be the death of me"
He changes me quickly and I'm dressed in leggins and one of the boys's sweatshirts. He lifts me up and I wrap my legs around his waist and I lay my head on his shoulder, he wraps his arms around me and walks out of the room and out to the car that's waiting for us. We get into the car and I start sucking on my thumb again and Xander says
"ah ah babygirl no, you'll ruin your teeth"
I pout as Xander pulls my thumb out of my mouth and he turns to Xav and says
"lets just pick up some pacifiers on our way home"
He nods and makes a quick turn making my side and head hit the window hard, I rub my head and I start to cry as my head starts pounding, I start to scream and cry feeling hurt and moody from being stuck in the car.
Xander's POV
Shit! That's all I can think when she starts to cry after having hit her head on the window and I mind link Xav and say
"shit man where's her a car seat?!"
He mind links back
"I think it's in the other car, I forgot to transfer it over to this one"
We cut the link and he pulls into a little store, I pick her up and she's still crying making my wolf feel on edge because he can't help his mate. We quickly walk in and Xav rips open a package of pacifiers and hands her one then picks her up out of my arms and cuddles her into his chest. She sniffles but starts to settle down in his arms. I walk around while he's calming her down and I see a little stuffed bear so I grab it for her then I see a little stuffed wolf and grab that one as well.
I grab some clothes and shirts that would fit her but they're more little with words like daddy, daddy's girl and then some pyjamas with little wolves all over it. I go to the counter and pay for everything then I go back to Angel and Xav and show her the little wolf I got her and she perks up right away. She giggles and reaches for me and her paci falls out of her mouth but it's tied to her shirt, I smile and hand it to her and I ask
"you like it babygirl?"
She smiles and cuddles the stuffy and nods really fast then says
"thank you daddy"
She leans forward and kisses my cheek and I kiss her lips lightly. We take her back to the car and get her buckled in, Xav and I get in the front and start the drive back home.
