Angel's POV
I wake up feeling sick and groggy wanting to get out of bed because I feel gross but at the same time can't even move my arms. My neck feels like it was hit and stabbed multiple times, I manage to slightly move my head to the side and I see Xander and Xavier whispering to each other quietly.
I whimper out and Xavier turns his head to look at me, he runs over to my side and says
"Heyy babygirl, how are you feeling?"
I try to speak but my throat is scratchy so it comes out as a little cry and Xander says
"okay fine, lets take her to the doctor, pick her up and lets go"
Xavier then picks me up and keeps one blanket wrapped around me because he sees me shivering but I'm boiling hot but can only whine in protest but he doesn't seem to think anything of it.
He keeps me closer to his body and it's a little soothing to my pounding headache. We get into the car and Xander is speeding through trafic to get to the packs hospital. We walk inside and Xander calls for a doctor and we're lead into a private room, I'm set down on a bed and I whimper and tears make their way down my face.
Xavier looks down at me and it looks like he's fighting himself, he leans down and kisses my head and I let my eyes close on their own.
Xavier's POV
I look at my precious angel and feel helpless, I run my fingers through her hair and I look back when I see Xander and the doctor walk through the door. He walks over to Angel but I growl and hear Xander's faint growl in the background. The doctor puts his hands up and says
"Alpha's I really need to check on your mate to figure out what's going on"
I nod and stop Xander from moving closer to the doctor when he starts to touch our angel. He quickly goes over her body hearing pour growls when he gets too handzy. After having a nurse come in and hook her up to some machines the doctor walks over to us and says
"well alpha's, she isn't rejecting your marks, she's complying to them"
Xander frowns and asks
"what the hell does that mean?"
"When a mate marks he obviously puts feelings behind the mark, you guys wanted her to be something different, maybe age play? that's none of my business but now her body is shutting her down in order to restore and comply to what you and your wolves wished for her to be"
Xavier and I both look at each other stunned at what he was saying, comply to our marks?
Xander's POV
What the hell, comply?
The doctor leaves us and the nurse says
"Alpha's I'll need to change her into her gown now, would you both mind stepping out for a moment?"
We look at each other then nod walking out of the room to give our mate some privacy. Xavier falls into a chair beside her room door and whispers
"fuck man, I just hope she's okay"
I nod and my body itches to go back inside and be with our little girl. The nurse comes back out and says
"She's on pain medication and won't wake up for another couple of hours but her stats look good, good evening alpha's"
We nod to her and we both push into the room and see her sleeping peacefully. Oh angel, what is going to happen.
