Xander's POV
My brother and I split up looking for our possible little girl but it's hard when your wolf bearly got her smell, I take a deep breath hoping I can remember her scent. I look around and spot a glimps of red, I smile and briskly walk over to where I last saw her and I finally get a good look.
I mind link Xavier and say
"I found her, should we lead her out into the gardens? Somewhere more private?"
He mind links back
"I'll go into the gardens and lead her out, you follow, make sure no one pulls her away or follows us"
I see a glimps of Xavier in the woods and I see that that catches our little girls attention. I smile as she starts to slowly walk out while excusing herself from conversations. She finally walks out the back doors and down the steps to the rose gardens and I slowly close the doors to the inside of the ball and mind link our guards saying
"gardens are off limits to all others than me or my brother"
I hear yes sir and smile thinking about how we could be meeting our mate. After so many years of waiting, we can finally pull her into our arms. I smile as I see my brother lurking back in the rose bushes as she walks through and looks around, we get close enough to smell her well enough and we look at each other with the biggest smiles on our faces. She's ours.
Angelica's POV
I touch the beautiful roses, their red almost matching the red on my dress. I hear a branch break behind me and I turn around quickly seeing two men and I take a couple rushed steps back and trip over a branch, before I can hit the ground one of them speeds towards me and picks me up bridal style. He smiles and says
"careful little one, you could have hurt yourself"
I wiggle out of his arms and say
"I'm not little"
I cross my arms over my chest and huff until I feel another body behind me, I gasp and their arms wrap around me and he says
"hey hey little one, no need to be scared"
I turn around and see that they both look very similar. They chuckle and say
"we're twins"
I slightly giggle and say
"well yeah I guessed that"
They both frown and one of them takes me into their arms and whispers
"don't sass us little girl"
I bite my bottom lip and nod, they shake their heads and the other one says
"big girl words"
"yes sir"
"good girl"
They both kiss my forehead but they look at each other then nod and one says
"We must go little one, but we will be back for you, have sweet dreams little one"
And just like that, they disapeared, and like the roses, I was a blushing red.
