Ricki and Pete: My love will not let you down

Ricki comes back

"It's time to break up" said Greg, while Ricki was trying to hold her tears. "The Flash", all their concerts, the rehearsals and the rock music they had played for all those years had been Ricki's whole life, but now, Greg and her were the only ones who were still alive and to find some other musicians wouldn't have been the same; they could have never replaced the original ones.

During the afternoon Ricki called her ex-husband. While waiting for him to answer, she felt a little embrassed: she was still in love with him and in that moment he was the only friend she could lean on.

"Linda?" asked the voice on the other side of the phone

-Here he goes again- Ricki thought. She hated when Pete called her with her birth name, well knowing she loved being called Ricki Rendazzo.

"Hey Pete, how are you? What about the kids?" she asked with a trembling voice. She was wondering if he could understand her actual feelings. In the past she had left her family to be a musician in L.A. and Pete had felt heatbroken for a lot of time.

Listening to her unsecure voice, Pete got there was something wrong with her.

Ricki explained that after Joe's death, her and Greg had decided to break up the band and that she felt really upset. Pete tried his best to comfort her, but still had not been able to cheer her.

At the end of the conversation, Ricki asked if she could come back home for a week.

Pete accepted, deeply hoping Greg would have not come with her. Even if they had divorced centuries before, he was jealous of Ricki's boyfriend.

Since Ricki and Greg didn't have enough money to leave, Ricki took the plane alone. Greg thought it was good for her to get distracted for some days.

But he ignored his girlfriend feelings for Pete; more: he ignored that also Pete was in love with Ricki.
