Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Theoded, Eomer and I stood on top of a hill looking towards Mordor. "The battle for Helm's Deep is over. The battle for Middle-earth is about to begin. All our hopes now lie with two little Hobbits somewhere in the wilderness." Gandalf said beginning the ride to Isengard.

We finally reached it to find Merry and Pippin sitting on a fallen wall drinking and smoking.

"Welcome, my lords to Isengard!" Merry announced dramatically as Pippin laughed.

"You young rascals! A merry hunt you've lead us on and now we find you feasting and.... and smoking!" Gimli shouted.

"We are sitting on a field of victory enjoying a few well-earned comforts" Pippin said, "The salted pork is particularly good." He continued.

"Salted pork?" Gimli said salivating obviuosly imagining the taste.

"Huh. Hobbits." Gandalf shook his head making me chuckle.

"We're under orders from Treebeard who's taken over management of Isengard" Merry said. We shared a look before getting the Hobbits to get in the horses with them and rode into Isengard.

"Young Master Gandalf. I'm glad you've come. Wood and water, stock and stone I can master. But there is a wizard to manage here, locked in his tower." Treebeard said.

"And there Saruman must remain, under your guard, Treebeard" Gandalf said.

"Well, let's just have his head and be done with it." Gimli said.

"No. He has no power anymore." Gandalf said.

"The filth of Saruman is washing away. Trees will come back to live here. Young trees. Wild trees. " Treebeard said.

"Pippin!" Aragorn called making us all turned to see him holding a huge black ball with orange-ish glow in it.

"Bless my bark!" Treebeard said in shock.

"Peregrin Took! I'll take that , my lad. Quickly, now." Gandalf said urgently and the Hobbit handed it over. Only for Gandalf to wrap it with his cloak.

We rode back to Edoras to celebrate victory. Well, more like tgey did I am still sharing Aragorn's horse. I hate horses.

We stood in the Great Hall of Edoras in front of King Theoden who had a cup of ale in hand.

"Tonight we remember those who gave their blood to defend this country. Hail the victorious dead." Theoden said raising his cup.

"Hail!" Everyone shouted raising their cups and the celebration started. I sat next to Gimli clapping at the two singing and dancing Hobbits.

"Luth, you know of songs like these" Gimli said.

"Fine" I nodded standing up, "There is an inn, a merry old inn
beneath an old grey hill,
And there they brew a beer so brown
That the Man in the Moon himself came down
one night to drink his fill.

The ostler has a tipsy cat
that plays a five-stringed fiddle;
And up and down he runs his bow,
Now squeaking high, now purring low,
now sawing in the middle." I sang along with Gimli.

The Men clapped for us as we took exaggerated bows at everyone all while laughing.
"Reminds me of the quest to reclaim Erebor" Gandalf chuckled as I walked toward him.

"She was with them? You were with them?" Aragorn asked.

"Yes, I was" I smiled sadly.

"He choose his fate, Luth. Thorin choose to die for them to live." Gandalf said.
