The sound of a lighter flicking woke me. While still laying I started to wipe the sleep from my eyes.
"Sharing is caring," I stated with sleep still laced through my voice. Daryl snickered at this comment and passed me his cigarette.
Placing the lit cigarette between my lips and taking a long drag the feeling of my head pounding became more intense because of last night's events.
After taking another drag I returned to Daryl who was sitting next to me on the bed. I finally decided it was time for me to get up and get ready.
I made my way to my bag to get sweatpants. Not only were they comfy but they provided warmth as the weather started to get cold.
Slowly making my way to the bathroom as my head continued to pound, I locked the door behind me.
As much as I loved shorts I would not wear those things during the day.
After getting myself into the soft sweat pants I made my way back out to Daryl and I's shared room.
Even though this wasn't the first time I've been hungover it felt a little bit more intense.
"Let's go eat," Daryl said in a soft yet quiet voice. I nodded in agreement as my stomach decided to make itself known.
We both decided to make the bed to make the room somewhat presentable and left the time room. As we were leaving it seemed like others had the same idea as they started to exit their rooms as well.
We entered the elevator in science before we got to the cafeteria. Daryl and I sat down isolating ourselves from the rest of the group.
T-Dog was in the makeshift kitchen making breakfast area while Glenn looked like he just got his by bus. Once in and while he would let out a painful moan. Daryl and I shared a snicker.
"Not like me at all," Shane said while talking to Rick. That's when I noticed the scratch I left present on his face.
I'm sure the two of them were talking about it. The scratch was red at sight and on a show for everybody. I grabbed my bruised wrists holding them close to me as last night's events played through my head.
An audible scoff came from the red neck beside me as he darted daggers at Shane before landing on me.
T-Dog made his way over to Daryl and I placed a plate of eggs down. A very warm smile spread across his face as we both thanked him.
T-Dog is such a sweet person. Yes, he did drop the key for Merels handcuffs but he a truly a wonderful person. I feel bad for the way Daryl and I responded to the news.
While the groups contained to make small talk Daryl and I both ate our eggs in silence.
I wonder what food they have here. I mean they have eggs! I'm personally not the biggest fan of them but they're a wonderful surprise when you haven't eaten something like this in a while.
"Morning," Dr. Jenner said as he made his way to the coffee station. I didn't even notice there was coffee. Little mornings back to the doctor went around the room. Some of them even moaned in response.
Instantly getting up I made my way and copied Jenner's movements.
"Doctor, I don't mean to slam you with questions first thing." dale stated in a serious tone as I added creamer and sugar to my fresh coffee.
"But you will anyways," Jenner scroffed.
"We didn't come here for the eggs." Andrea jumped in letting the man in the labcoat know our true intentions.
