Kiara's POV

I'm really happy to that Layne is here. It's been a long time since she last visited here in London. But I think she's not here for vacation, I think she's here for good.

It's been three weeks since they arrive, but she barely goes out from her room. Her Mum doesn't know what she's been through, Aunt Victoria keeps on asking me how Layne is. But the truth is? I don't know, I really don't know if she's alright.

Mustering all my courage, I knock on the door.

"Come in" She answered. I slowly open the door and entered her room.

"Hey" I waved "Your Mum and my Mum are going out, they said that they won't be home until dinner so---" she cut me off.

"It's okay, we can also eat outside. I really want to get out and see London" She said calmly.

finally !! She's going out.

"I'll just change my clothes and we're out" I told her then walk out of her room.

Layne's POV

We just ate by near by restaurant and had a little chit-chat. I was really having a great time having dinner until I felt my phone vibrated for the tenth time this day. I looked at my phone thinking it was Xavier, but it wasn't. It was an unknown number.

Kiara must have noticed it because she began asking me what's wrong. I just gave her a reassuring smile and excuse myself to go to the bathroom.

"Hello, who's this?" I ask

"Layne? Thank God you

finally answered. I've been calling you for three weeks. Brandon won't tell me where you....."

"Stop! I don't want your stupid explanation but, please leave me alone. I don't want to see you or even talk to you" Then I hang up and went back to our table.

"Sorry for that. It was some jerk that won't leave me alone" I explained then she nodded.

"So who's the lucky guy?" I question out of the blue

She narrowed her eyes at me but it was completely replace by a shock expression. "No, I don't have any. How about you?" She countered.

I stiffened at her question, should I tell her or not?

"We broke up"  I said simply, her face fell. "I'm so sorry darling, I didn't know about it I-"

"It's okay, you have the right to know. Should i start with 'Once upon a time'?". I asked, she just shook her head and nodded afterwards signalling for me to keep going.

So I finished up the whole story and I could tell she was fuming with anger. "He's gonna pay, he can't do that to my little cousin" She said, she just gave me a sympathetic look.

After having fun with Kiara, we finally decided to go home  because both of our Mothers were now looking for us.

We were now at the car, Kiara and I were now sitting silently in the backseat. "Hey, how about we buy food for mum and aunt Victoria? There's a nearby bakeshop just a few blocks away from thus road" She offered. I nodded in agreement. She just instructed the driver the directions for the bakeshop.

Before I knew it, I felt our car was being hit by another and we were flipping on the road. I just closed my eyes waiting for the happenings to just end. I heard someone yelling my name, I quickly opened my eyes to see Kiara beside me with her head bleeding. I held into her hand, signalling everything's going to b fine. I felt a pang in my head, I quickly put my hand behind my head and I felt blood. I then started to panic because Kiara was now beside me unconscious.

I still manage to get my phone from my purse and dialled my mom's number even if my sight was now blurry.

She picked up after the third ring.

"Honey, where are you?" she sound worried

"Mom, there was an accident and were actually part of it. Just track my phone down because....." I didn't get to finish it off because darkness took over me.

'Is this how I'll die?'
