Chapter 4- I'm glad your awake

Kiara'sPOV

"I'm glad she's waking up" I heard a faintly but familiar voice say, I open my eyes and wince at the light. It so bright that my eyes hurt. I felt all the wires connected at my body.

'why amI here?'

"I'll just call the doctor and I'll tell her she's awake" Aunt Victoria said while putting a hand on my mum's shoulder. Mum just nodded at her and turned to me. I noticed Layne wasn't here, where is she? Then it clicked me.

Memories of the accident came back to me. The car, Layne, blood, my head.

"Where is Andy?" I asked with my voice crack.

"She's not yet awake, it's been a month since you two have been in coma" She explained with her eyes watering because of tears. "I'm fine mom" I sigh and gave her a reassuring smile.

I saw Aunt Victoria enter the room with the doctor behind her. "How are you Kiara?" the doctor asked. "My voice is a little hoarse and my body's a little sore" I said.

"It's due to dehydration because you haven't eaten and drink for a month, and your body is practically healthy ng from the accident" He explained

Amonth? Iwasreallyincomaforamonth?

"If your injuries and stitches will completely heal, then you'll be completely discharge..... Maybe in a week" He said then excuse himself and exited the room.

"Can I see Layne?" I asked hopefully.

'Of coarse, but first. You have to it so you can regain strength" I nodded and began to eat my meal.

Finally!! Today is the day I'll get out of this hospital, but I'm worried for Layne. She's still in coma. Everyday I visit her at her room so that Brandon can eat. I understand how Brandon feels, he's just worried about his sister so much.

"You have to wake up, there's so many people who wants to see you again. I miss you so much little sister. Everyone misses you so much. Please, wake up" Brandon pleaded. for the past four months, that's the only thing that Brandon says if he leaves Layne's side.

"I'll take it on from here Brandon" I said softly holding his shoulder. He turned to me and nodded before kissing Layne's forehead.

"I'll be right back soon" He said then goes out of the door.

I hope so too that Layne's gonna wake up do that Aunt Tori won't have been worried. I sat at the chair beside the hospital bed then just bowed my head for sleep.

I was so close to sleeping when I felt someone poke my head three times.

"Brandon, please let me sleep" I mumbled

But he keeps on poking me.

 

"Brandon cut it...." I stop mid sentence because it was not Brandon it was......

I hurriedly get my phone and dialed Brandon to tell him Layne has awaken. Seconds later, Brandon, Mum, Aunt Tori, and Uncle Richard came into the room.

Layne'sPOV

I open my eyes and close them quickly because it's too bright. I adjusted my surroundings and noticed it was all white. The ceiling, the walls, and the door. I turn my head on both directions and noticed the wires connected to my body.

Where am I?

I noticed there was a girl but I can't see her face. So I did the thing that was possible to catch her attention. I poke her head three times, and I'm glad it worked. She mumbled something but I just kept on poking her.

The next thing I knew, she face me clearly irritated but was soon replace with shock. She get her phone and talk to somebody while ooking at me. Soon, people fill the small room and they were each on my side.

"I'm glad your awake dear" the woman told me with tears in her eyes. Her blue eyes stared at mine. She has bags under eyes but she is still so stunning. Who is she? All of them were starring at me and I can't help but to squirm.

"How are you feeling Layne?'' The same person ask me and touch my arm. I took my hand away from her and she gasp. Who is she talking about?

"Excuse me, but...... Who are you and who is Layne?' I asked seriosly.

All of their eyes WIDEN (O_O)
