Chapter 6:

Xavier'sPOV

It's been three years since I last saw Layne and since we graduate form highschool. Even though we graduated, our friendship never faded. We still hangout like the old times, but it isn't really complete because Layne is not here.

She left without telling anyone where she will be going. All of us except for her family doesn't know where she is. I tried asking Brandon but he always tell me to fuck off and leave them alone. I wonder if she's alright? Will she be coming back? Maybe, maybe not.

I could still remember the day she transfered, she was from London back then. Yes, she's half brittish. She became popular then because of her family background, her Dad's a famous Lawyer while her Mom is one of greatest fashion designers in the whole world. Well, it's not just her that has great family background, but mine also. Our family owns many Luxury hotels not just in here but also on thee parts of the world.

*flashback*

I'm currently in my room just starring at my ceiling. I've been like this since we broke up. I didn't even bother to attend our prom cause I'll kow it will be boring. Suddenly, I heard the oppening of my door but I didn't bother to answer it cause I know it's my mother. I was waiting for her to talk but the room was still silent, I look up to see the last person i expected to see. She was standing at the end of my bed, I noticed the dark circles under her eyes, and she's getting thinner than her usual size. I was about to ask her why she's here but she beat me to it.

"I'm leaving California" She said

It took me five minutes to realize what she said, then I quickly get up from my bed and stand a few feet from her. "Why?" I asked her "When and Where are you going?' I add.

"I need to take a break from all this happenings. Besides, it's already settled. No one can stop me now" She said looking at me.

I took a step closer to her but she stepped back, "I won't let you leave" I told her stepping closer and she kept on stepping back, her back soon collided with the wall and I mentally smirk at her.

"I'm not asking for your permission, I'm just letting you know I'm leaving" She scoffed bitterly.

I leaned closer so that our faces were now inches from each other "Then let me kiss you for the last time before you leave" I whispered huskily.

Without warning, I captured her lips with mine with so much love and passion. It took her a second before she kissed me back. My hand cupped her face while the other holds her waist. She then slid her arms around my neck and gently pulled my hair. I groaned and bit her lower lip asking for entrance and she gladly accepted it. She moaned as our tongue fight for dominance, but I gladly won. Soon, we had to break the kiss but it doesn't end there, I slowly kissed her jaw down to her neck. I slowly kissed and sucked her bare skin and she moaned as I found her soft spot. She just tug my hair while I attack her neck with love bites. After attacking her neck, I leaned my forehead against hers while still catching our breaths. My eyes are still closed. I don't want this moment to end, cause I know I'all be broken if I open my eyes and fave reality.

I soon open my eyes and starred at her. My gray orbs boring into hers. She was still catching her breath from our kiss. "I need to go, I still have something to do in the house Xavier" She whispered.

"No, let's stay like this for a while" I pleaded. She sighs and nod her head. I then burried my head on the crook of her neck and smelled her. I'm gonna miss this scent. We stayed like that for another few minutes. I slowly backed myself away from her, she needs space, a lot.

"I guess this is good bye then" I told her.

"Yeah" she answered

She then started to go for the door, but before she could leave, I grab her body and hugged her from behind. "Please don't leave me Layne, I promise I'll be better" I pleaded, burying my face to her hair.

She struggles from my grip but I hug her more tighter.

I slowly let her go, she walk away from me leaving me in my room. "I love you Layne, forever and always" I said even though she won't hear me anymore.

That was the last time I told saw her. Since then, I never loved anyone cause I' know she'll be coming back. But now, I'm beginning to lose hope.
