The Mystics

I needed some lonely time, to breathe fresh air and relax my tensed mind. After the lunch, I informed the girls and walked out slowly. The air was cool and fresh.

I walked as much as I could. It felt a little better to spend time with nature. I felt presence of people in the woods with my senses. "Look what this beauty is doing in our place", Preston said sarcastically to his Beta Charles. I then rolled my eyes and walked away not minding his words. "Woah! wait gorgeous. Have you thought about being with me anytime?", he asked me directly. So he wanted to ask me the same thing on the college that day. Well I already knew he was a playboy but why the hell did I walk into his territory. "It will be a secret between us. Don't you want to try an animal like me?", he said winking his eyes. That was cheap and I didn't have my gloves on, so I folded my arms in front of my chest to avoid skin contact with him. He looked at Charles signalling him to leave. I looked back at him. "Whats your problem Preston?" I asked him directly."Leaving you just like that is. I liked you the very first day, I saw you. So what should I do to have you babe?", he asked licking his lower lip. His eyes grazed my body from top to bottom. Got irritated of his flirtatious talks and looks I moved around and started walking towards the way I came from. He suddenly grabbed my hands, pulling me back. I wanted to use my vampire strength and speed, but I controlled and behaved like a human. I couldn't use my hands to push him as he was half naked.

I kneed his balls and ran off from him. Shouting in pain and anger, he came back of me. I wanted to increase my speed but I was already on a good human speed. If the situation gets beyond my control I planned to use my powers. I could hear him very close to me. He was too ferocious to behave like a human. Slipping on a stupid broken log I fell down on my knees scraping it hard. I turned on my back to see Preston, who was crouching to jump on me. I closed my eyes tightly raising my hands, blocking me from his contact. I was ready to enthrall him. Suddenly, I heard Preston's wolf wincing in pain.

It was Ivan. He saved me. Preston howled and his pack came in seconds to the spot. This side it was only Ivan and me. I tried my best to get up and stand. I saw Preston, Charles, Annie, Richie and Christy standing before us bearing their grudge on Ivan. They showed their canines. I focused only on protecting the Lycan's Alpha. Even if I had to use all my powers to save him, I will. We were officially in their territory. This was a violation of the treaty but he was here to protect me. Preston came forward growling at Ivan. Before Ivan took a step forward I blocked his way, standing in between the Alpha's. I then looked at Preston. "It was all my fault. I didn't know it was your territory. I am sorry" I pleaded to end this. I could feel how angry was Ivan on me. After having eye contact with Ivan for seconds, Preston ran growling angrily into the the forest and his pack followed him. Ivan breathed heavily and turned into his human form."Why did you apologize to that brat? It was he who came behind you" he shouted at me. I noted the pain in my mark when he was hurt, spoke angrily or worriedly. I stood still unable to walk further. "What now?", he asked stopping. "I scraped my knees, I cant walk further" I said looking down. He came close and bent a little to lift me up the bridal way. I covered my hands around his neck. Staying so close to him inhaling his scent did not help me. We looked into eachothers eyes. On reaching Ivan's house,he took me straight to his room and put me on his bed. Moving my gown above the knee, he gave me some first aid. I didn't have time to look at anything around but only him. Once it was done he left the room closing the door behind him. One spell is enough for me to heal completely but it wasn't possible to do it now. Thinking of what happened in the forest, I closed my eyes and went to sleep.

*hours later*

Reluctantly, I opened my eyes. Iris, Fiona and Mina were all sitting in front me. Maybe Ivan told about the mystics to everybody in the house. Ofcourse the pack had the right to know everything that happened. I smiled at the girls and told them I was okay. However Mina wasn't convinced abd she gave me a worried look. She hugged followed by the other two. They cared so much for me.

That night I moved to our house. We had college the next day and our routine week was about to start. I informed everyone before leaving but Ivan wasn't there. Mina and Jason kissed eachother before we left. Seeing them alone was impossible. After a long time, we headed to Mrs.Maggie's house. She was so happy to receive us. After talking to her about the college and party at friend's place, we waved her a bye and left to our house."I miss Jason, so much" Mina said sadly. I smiled at her and said "Look who has gone too much in love". This night was different. It was not only Mina who missed her loved one.
