Birth of the Mystery Girl

The girl of mystery.

I always wanted to be a normal being, living a normal life. But I wasn't destined for that. I was wanted by many people. Not because I was an outlaw, but because I was the only heir of the vampire King Shawn Archer and Queen Vanessa Archer. The only couple in the Vampire-witch community to possess the extravagant powers from our ancestors. My father was King Shawn Archer of the Lurkers clan. He was the man who owned the hearts of all women and vengeance of all men. He was an uncomparable vampire who was veteran in all his supernatural powers. Other vampires were afraid of his powers except my mother  Vanessa Von of the Sanguine clan,who was a Faery witch by birth. Even as she ages, a Faery Witch exudes the quality of beauty, sexuality, and charm. They were the most beautiful and powerful couple who united the Vampire and the Witch community.

Once they got married with the help of the elders in the vampire-witch community,then my mother Vanessa became the Queen. Nobody dared to oppose my parents in anyway. As they were most competent when they were together. My father possessed the combination of supernatural speed,senses,strength and durability. Whereas, my mother was the best witch in casting spells, presentience, psychometry and power negation. Together they became unstoppable. They were envied and feared by many. This made the Vampire-witch council,which was headed by Lord James Porter, to raise a precaution treaty. The Treaty of Abdication, incase my parents tried to turn against or harm the vampire-witch community they would be renounced from the throne and burnt alive.

Later, our people got to know the hearts of their king and queen. That they both would never use their powers on the innocent. My mother and father were always very concerned about the welfare of both the communities. They never encouraged our people in interrupting the humans and their lives. Even when James Porter,the head of the council and a very good friend of my father, killed numerous humans to feed from them, my mother at once removed all his supernatural power from him through her power negation ability. He then lived merely like a human with no powers of a vampire. So, the council members were very keen on keeping our people indistinguishable from the humans. They made up many laws for the safety of both the communities. My parents were then most respected than feared. They were very happy and content with their works except that Lord James Porter had left the council and the Lurkers clan for some reasons.

My mother was good at teaching the spells and witchcrafts for the children of the witches. While my father had the most efficiently trained army of vampires in his period. One day, my mother had fainted while she was teaching the children on casting a basic spell for the flowers to bloom. The witch's doctor Lady Emma was called immediately by the guards. People around were worried about the health condition of their queen. After a basic check up Lady Emma came to know that the queen was strengthless to cast a simple spell because the baby in her womb was feeding on her supernatural powers. She then informed the King and other people around about  queen Vanessa's pregnancy. Everybody in the kingdom were rejoicing as my father and mother were the very first vampire-witch couple to impregnate.

Five months later, on a new moon day,my mother had her labor pain. The elderly witches were very worried that the Queen was about to give birth on a new moon day,which was not a good sign. One of the witches, whose ability was to forecast the future of the empire informed the people that it was a sign of the empire's downfall. And so the elderly witches together crafted a spell on the unborn heir to be protected by all wicca godmother and the vampire protectors throughout her life. Then the baby was born and handed to the queen. She held the pride of the Archer's. With the power of presentience, queen Vanessa then touched her baby and closed her eyes to sense the future of the baby. Few seconds later she opened her eyes full of tears. The witches and the vampires were waiting for her statement about the baby's future.

*silence for a minute*

"She is one of the kind. I name her Evelyn,the girl of mystery" said the queen. Everybody around cheered on her words and hugged one another rejoicing the birth of their newborn princess. The queen then communicated with the king through their mental bonding.

Dear I am sorry to say, but this is what I sensed. Our Evelyn will not live with our communities in future. She wouldn't take care of our people after us. She will not be one among us. For she is one of the kind. She is a mystery to me. I cant find what she will be. There is something blocking my way from getting close to her.

King Shawn was speechless on having heard this from his wife. But still he gave her a promising smile and got the baby from the queen. He then walked to his people to show them the heir of the Archer's. Lifting the baby above his head, he shouted,"Dear people,she is the future hope of both the communities,the princess of the most renowned vampire-witch community and the Lurkers clan. The heart of the Archer's Empire, Evelyn Archer!!".

They were all very happy and celebrating the moment. But no one knew what their newborn princess would become. A vampire? or A witch?
