Aftermath

Chapter 1

Naruto stood up and walked over to Sasuke. "We should take her to the hospital." Naruto said. "Let me guess, she's still breathing." Sasuke said and Naruto hung his head. "Barely." His whispered and picked up his twin sister bridal style.

ONE YEAR LATER

Naruto sat at his desk waiting for class to start. "Hello class." Iruka-sensei said as he walked into the full classroom. "Where's Kakashi-sensei?" Sakura asked curiously. "He... had to deal with something." Iruka said with a frown. "Anyway, you have a new classmate." The door opened to reveal a very familiar blonde walk in, her hair tied back in a ponytail that made it seem shorter then it was, her skin pale for no reason and a smile plastered on her face. "Ohyao minna, I'm Uzumaki Naruko, I hope we can become great friends." Her smiled never faltered as she took her seat. "Well thank you Uzumaki-san." Iruka said and continued with the lesson.

LUNCH!

"Uzumaki-san, come sit with us." A group of boys yelled at the blonde but she shook her head and walked over to a fountain in the middle of the courtyard. "It's good to be back." Naruko said to herself as her smile left her face and she lost her appetite. "Rule number two, always smile." She said to herself and headed to her next class.

"Naruko, is it really you?" Naruto asked slamming his hands down on her desk as she looked out the window. "Nice to see you to," Natuko turned to him with a smile on her face as she stood up. "O-nii-chan." "Ahh!" Naruto screamed falling back as the syllables left her mouth. "It is you." He yelled happily and wrapped his arms around her, extremely tiny, waist. "Put me down." Naruko said trying to push her brothr away. "PUT ME DOWN YOU DOBE!" She yelled slamming her hand on his head. "Gomen." She whispered and sat down looking out th window again. "Yup, that's Naruko." Shikamaru sweatdropped as he watched their little reunion a few desks down. "Naruto come on, we have to work on our project for Kakashi-sensei." Sakura said entering the classroom and grabbing Naruto's hand."Hi Sakura-san." Naruko gave the bubblegum pink haired girl a closed eye smile. "Hey Naruko." Sakura said and turned to leave."Wait.. NARUKO?!" She yelled and looked at the blonde.

~TIME SKIP!~

Naruko walked out of the school and towards the bus stop. "Naruko wait up." Naruto yelled after her as he ran towrds his sister. "Hi onii-chan." Naruko smiled. "Where are you staying?" "At a hotel for now, I don't really have a place to stay." Naruko answered shrugging her shouders. "Come stay with me, I mean it is your old apartment, and Sasuke did move in with me to help pay rent, but still." Naruto gave her a toothy smile and Naruko just looked shocked. "Okay." Naruto grabbed her hand and started dragging her down the street. "Five blocks from the high school remember?" "Actually, no, I-I don't remember living five blocks from school, or by myself." Naruko said and Naruto stopped walking. "What do you mean, you moved in there for grade ten." He looked at her confused and she looked down at her feet. "I don't remember grade ten." She said, it was barely audioable but somehow Naruto heard her. "Well, that doesn't matter right now, let's go." Naruto continued to drag her down the street towards her- his apartment.

"Dobe, did you get the medicine?" Sasuke asked walking towards the front door when he heard it open. "Sorry Teme, I forgot, I got sidetracked." Naruto said talking off his shoes. "Onii-chan, why did you run off like that, I had no clue where I was going." Naruko yelled slapping Naruto's head. "Sorry, and would you stop hurting me?" Naruto said turning towards his sister. "Anyway, why do you need medicine Sasuke?" Naruko asked looking at the raven haired boy. "I'm sick, and why are you here?" Sasuke asked. "She's gonna live with us, she transferred back from that all girls school, and she's in all your classes." Naruto said walking past Sasuke. Naruko smiled and made her way farther into the apartment. "So I really lived here?" Naruko asked herself looking around. "Sasuke, I need to tell you something." Naruto said pulling Sasuke aside. "What is it Dobe?" "Naruko lost her memory, she doesn't remember anything that happened during grade ten, which also means she doesn't remember what happened." Naruto said and glared at Sasuke. "Don't bring up anything that has to do with Kiba." "Yeah because I'm such good friends with Kiba." Sasuke said sarcastically and gave the infamous Uchiha glare back at him. "Naruto, can I have a soda." Naruko yelled, the two boys made their way to the kitchen. "They're Sasuke's, ask him." Naruto said and grabbed his backpack hading to his room. "I have to finish my project or Sakura will kill me." He shuttered and left the two alone. "You are so not sick." Naruko said grabbing a soda from the fridge and then handing one to Sasuke. "Hn, and how could you tell?" Sasuke asked leaning against the counter. "I grew up with you, i might not remember some of grade ten, but I do remember you." "Naruto said you forgot all of it." "I have little flashes, of stuff that happened, but otherwise I don't remember all of it." Naruko looked down. Sasuke just stared at her, he placed his soda on the counter behind him. "Hi Naruko."Sasuke said stepping in front of the blonde haired girl. "Hi Sasuke." Naruko looked up and smiled. "Wipe that fake smile off your face and go get changed, knowing you, you'll need some help on your homework." Naruko frowned. "I don't have a change of clothes." Sasuke just stared at her. "Why not?" "We were only aloud to wear the uniform, they threw away all our clothes." Sasuke grabbed her hand and dragged her to his room. "This used to be your room, I found some of your clothes, so here." He grabbed a duffel bag and gave it to her. "Thanks, um, where's the bathroom?" Naruko asked. "Naruto uses the main bathroom, I have an on suite." "Okay, I'll use your bathroom." Naruko said walking into the bathroom.

Naruto, was cooking, and it wasn't ramen. "Do not burn he food Dobe." Sasuke yelled from the living room. "Yeah, yeah, I'll do my best." Naruto said waving him off. A slight giggle left Naruko's lips as she watched the two. "You guys haven't changed have you?" She said and walked into the kitchen. "So anything I can help with?" "Yeah, go tell Teme to shut up." Naruto said as he stirred the tomato sauce. "Onii-chan..." Naruko said and Naruto stood still. "Sasuke-kun..." Sasuke looked at the girl who had a devious smile on her face. "Why don't you help Naruto make dinner and I'll watch some TV." Sasuke stood up and walked into the kitchen. "Or, why doesn't Naruto make dinner and I'll help you with your homework." Sasuke smirked as Naruko glared at him. "Try all you want, but that glare doesn't scare me." Sasuke said as he poked Naruko's cheek. "Don't touch me." Naruko said as she went to bite Sasuke's finger. "Will you two stop flirting and do whatever it is you wanna do, that doesn't involve distracting me." Naruto yelled at the two.

A/N Yeah, I kinda have the first two chapters after the prologue already written.... Yeah I have a lot of time on my hands when I don't have school.... Anyway, sorry if some of the characters are OOC but that will be revealed later.... And the whole 'rule number two' thing, is from when she was at the school... That's all I'm saying for now!
