Falling from the darkness (Naruto Fanfic. Sasuke x Naruko)

Confession

Naruko stood at the stove cooking bacon for her and Sasuke. "Is the toast done?" She asked him as he walked back from the bathroom, he still has yet to put on a shirt. Much to the blondes pleasure. "Yeah, what about the bacon?" "Done!" The two teens dished themselves their food and headed into the living room, Naruko threw her feet on Sasuke's lap when he sat down. "Next time you can put your feet on my lap." Naruko said as Sasuke glared at her and answered with a 'Tch'

Naruko had moved into a sitting position, only to end up falling asleep again. "You're so much like your brother." Sasuke mumbled to himself as he watched her sleep. What else could he do, she was using him as a pillow. Sasuke just starred at the blonde and moved some hair that had fallen out of the bun on top of her head out of her face. "She looks so different." Sasuke looked up and saw Itachi standing in the doorway. "What are you doing here." Sasuke let out a low growl as he starred at Itachi. "I heard that Naruko was back, just wanted to make sure she wasn't having another break down 'cause of Kiba." Sasuke looked confused and then looked back down at Naruko. "What would Kiba do?" As far as he remembered Kiba was the best - and only - boyfriend Naruko ever had, he stopped her from having suicidal thoughts, stopped her from cutting, and always made her smile. Then a memory came to him, one that he tried to forget thinking it would just bring back feelings he knew he shouldn't have.

Flashback

Sasuke sat in Naruto's house that he shared with Kiba. Both home owners were out so they asked Sasuke to watch Akamaru because he was sick, poor dog. Suddenly a knock was heard on the door so Sasuke answered it, standing in the doorway soaking wet from the rain that had starred not to long ago was none other than Naruko Uzumaki. "Onii-chan isn't back?" She asked as she stepped in, she looked up at Sasuke and gave a small smile. "Mind if I keep you company Nii-chan?" Sasuke always hated it when she called him that, like he would always be her brother, nothing more than a friend. "Not like I'm stopping you." He snickered and she just sat on the couch, he shoulders starting to shake. "Are you okay?" Sasuke asked kneeling in front of her, she kept her eyes covered with her hands as the sleeves on her jacket fell and revealed new cuts, still bandaged. "Naruko what the hell happened?" He placed his hands on her knees and she looked up at him, her mascara and eyeliner creating streaks down her pale face. She wrapped her arms around his neck and connected her lips to his, he kissed back pushing her back onto the couch, he then pulled back as he looked down at her. "You can never tell Kiba this happened, or Naruto." She continued to look into his eyes as her arms made their way back to her sides. "Then why the fuck did you kiss me?!" He yelled at her straightening up. "Because I didn't want Kiba to be my first kiss!" She yelled back and stood up then turned towards the door. "Why, isn't he your boyfriend?" Then Naruko whispered something she thought Sasuke wouldn't hear. "Only because you never asked." She then disappeared into her brothers room.

Sasuke just starred at the place where Naruko once stood. "Damn it, Naruko!" He yelled and ran into Naruto's room, starring at her with the bloodied lines on her arms. "Naruko..." He sighed as he lifted her up and then took her back to the couch, he then grabbed a first air kit and started bandaging Naruko's wrists. "What made you do this?" He asked calmly as she just starred at him. "We talked, earlier today, me and Kiba, he asked why I wouldn't let him kiss me, so I told him I've never been kissed, he said that your first kiss should be with someone you care about, someone you know won't take advantage of you." She paused as she took a shallow breath of air. "So I told him i'll let him know when I've had my first kiss, then he got mad and stormed off, I followed him though, and I found his making out with Ino." Sasuke just grabbed her arm and rubbed the newly bandaged area. "Why me." He said, never really questioned. "Because you were always there." She smiled sadly and tilted her head. "I'm going to do it, soon, I just know that it will happen." Naruko sighed and leaned her head forward. Sasuke just gently kissed her forehead and sat beside her as she drifted off to sleep.

End Flashback

Sasuke looked back up at Itachi and nodded his head. "So, when he got mad he would go and make out with girls." Itachi nodded his head as well and sat down beside the two, causing Naruko to wake up. "Sasu-kun, why'd you wake me?" She pouted then turned towards Itachi. "Ita-nii-san!" She yelled and wrapped her arms around him.
