*Phoenix's POV*

24th June 1995.

This date haunts me.

It stares at me from the calender.

I see it everywhere I see his face, Cedric's face.

Family photo's justs scream this date.

I know I should be moving on, but its been two weeks, since. I can't take this pain anymore.

Iris suggested we all go on a camping trip together seems as the whether's been nice this past couple of days.

Rhys and Jinx came back from their holiday a couple days ago, they came over to say hi.

Jinx braught be so much chocolate, I love her so much.

I haven't spoken to the Weasley's for while.

I can't bring myself to send them an owl. I should, just to let them know I'm alright.

But that's the thing, I'm not alright.

No, I need to get out and do something, even if that means going to someone elses house, or even inviting them over here.

I decide to at least send George a letter, I havent spoken for a couple days, so maybe I should do that.

Just as I grab my materials, theres a light knock at the front door.

Oh look, it's Iris coming to check if I'm still alive.

''Hey Iris, and what do I owe for the pleasure of your company?''

She gives me a half hearted laugh and walks on in past me. She notices the paper and quill on th table and gives me an apolagetic smile.

I just laugh it and carry on writing out my letter.

''Iris, I'm just about to head off after sending this, to George's place, do you wanna come and then you can finally meet my 'cup of care'?''

I ask in a sarcastic way, not really expecting a reply, but to my surprise she's more than happy to acompany me.

Hey Georgie, sorry I haven't spoken in a while, well a couple days, my head ain't really in the right place at the moment.

Was just wondering if it was safe for me to come over and see everyone, I also have some company, Iris was wondering if she could tag along too, as long as its alright with your mum.

I finish the letter and hand it to Barney, opening the kitchen window allowing him to be on his way.

I sit back down at the kitchen table, waiting for a reply, just having a casual catch up with Iris.

''So, how long have you and George been together...OMG, Is that a promise ring I see''

She says awing at my promise ring, I thaught she already knew about it. Her eye's light up at the lovely ring apon my fingure.

I haven't taken it off since George gave it to me. I love it so much, Just as much as I love him.
