Chapter 20 ~ A little goes a long way

*Phoenix's POV*

I'm on my way back to apolagize to my Father for walking away. I can't keep blaming him for everything thats happened.

I can't stop smiling like an idiot though, the thaught of that last moment with Georgie sill plays on my mind, it's sad I know, but hey, I love him.

I'm just glad Him and Fred can make me happy, even the thought of them makes me smile. Those are the sort of people I need in my life.

Even though I'm not having the best of times right now, they can still keep a smile on my face.

I slowly aproach the front door to my Fathers house, hoping that Jocelyne has finally gone, I take a quick glance through the front window and see my father stood in the back field to our house, over looking to horrizon.

I decide to go round the back and join my Father in the back garden. I stand next to my Father and cross my arms as the cold wind pierces through my clothes making me shiver.

My Father reaches out and wraps his arm around me, pulling me close to his side.

I rest my head on his shoulder, I feel tears well up in my eyes, thretening to pour over.

''Thank you for coming back Phoenix, I'm sorry for leaving you. I have no excuse, I shouldnt have left...''

I look up at my Father in shock, he looks back at me with such hurt in his eyes I can't help but let the tears fall down my rosie cheeks.

''Just Promise me this Dad, Don't ever do it again. I don't want to lose you aswell''

I say, my voice barely above a whisper, I struggle to talk through the lump in my throat.

My Father wraps his arms tightly around my, I rest my head on his chest and wrap my arms around him.

He cradles me close to his chest, not wanting to let me go.

''I promise''

He whispers softly in my ear. We stand in a comfertable silence, before I gently pull away.

''I'm gonna head back now, thanks for coming back Dad''

''Thank you for not pushing me away Phoenix''

I say my last goodbye to my Father before heading back to the Weasley househould.

I notice there's a few extra's, looks like Hermione and Harry have joined us and by the looks of things Charlie and Bill have too.

Wait, is that...? Delacour?! What is she doing here?!

Calm yourself Phoenix.

''Hey Phoe, everything alright?''

Fred asks in a cheery voice, loud enough so everyone hears, turning the attention onto me.

''Yeah, actually, everythings fine, hey guys fancy seeing you hear. Fluer''

I reply, smiling innocently at Fluer whilste walking over to George.

I asume Fluer and Bill are dating as they're stood quite close together, they kinda make a good couple if I do say so myself.

''Look, okay, I'm gonna say this now, I asume you and Bill are dating, so I'm prepared to forgive and forget, otherwise this isnt just going to be awkward for us, it wil be even worse for everyone else.''

I say to Fluer holding my hands up in defeat, hoping she'll agree with me.

She sighs hevily then agrees with sharing a smile and a laugh.
