Walking through the carriages, looking at the variety of different faces that Macy passed by, she started to feel excited about where she was heading. She had no idea what a roller coaster of a ride her future held, and although it still scared her, it made her happy and excited. She was going to have to meet new people, people who didn't know her past, didn't know her family, didn't know her. She would be able to meet new friends- those school friends of hers haven't got into contact with her in years. Her only friends had been her family, until they betrayed her trust.
She thought to herself about how it is time to start getting to know strangers, no matter how different they are from herself.
She giggled to herself and thought 'I might even find a man who likes me.'
James looked at her as they continued to walk side-by-side through the carriages. Filled with curiosity of what she was laughing at, he asked her, "What is do funny? Did I miss something exciting back there?"
"Oh. No nothing!"she laughed.
They continued to walk through the different carriages of people who were of a higher social class than herself and James.
"You can really see the differences in social class, can't you?" Said Macy in a questionable tone.
"You really can." Replied James just as he looked at a man with expensive taste whom stuck his nose up at James and his acquaintance.
They reached the diner cart, And the smell of bacon, beans, toast, scrambled and fried eggs, melted cheese, potato bread and farel. The smell hit the senses and Macy's stomach growled as it begged to be fed.
"You hungry?" Laughed James
Macy laughed at the question. "Apparently so!"
"Do you wish to sit down and grab a bite to eat with me?"
"Oh, I didn't being my purse with me."
"Allow me to buy you this meal?"
"Oh, no I couldnt!" cried Macy
"Oh please? it's the least I could do."
"Ok then, but il repay you once we get back to our carriage, I mean it!"
James laughed "oh ok then."
James picked a seat, and pulled out Macy's chair for her.
"Thanks." Macy blushed.
Macy looked around the room. It was filled with the hustle and bustle of the catering life. The walls were of a dark green coloured wallpaper, and the place was filled with dark oak small square tables and birch wood chairs. The carpet was of a dark red and the whole room had a sense of relaxation and developed feelings of comfort.
Macy looked to the chalk board menu at the front of the room, then looked at James.
"Do you know what you're going to order?" She asked, watching him as he too studied the board.
"Oh yeah!" He stated, "An Ulster fry will do me just fine!"
Macy was confused, "Ulster fry? But the board doesn't say that?"
James laughed to himself aloud, "Oh my. You really aren't from around here- though I knew that straight away."
"Explain yourself James Grace?" Asked Macy who was confused by James' words.
"Ok. I meant its clear you are not from Northern Ireland if you do not know what an Ulster fry is. I also meant that seeing such a tanned barbie doll in this country- the country of rain and green green grass- is not in any way normal. Therefore, I simply meant you are not from this country, and was teasing about it." He smiled as he said it.
