Chasity:
I couldn't believe my mom was getting married again! It was my last year of college and then I would officially be a college graduate. My mom had insisted that I needed a college education. I loved to learn, but I didn't see why since I had a trust. I did it anyway and now I had a business degree and a minor in music, my passion!
You can't make a career out of music, my mom had said, At least get a business degree as well. So I did, which meant two more years of college and now I was almost done. After my last exam, I would be on a plane back to good old Texas.
I had chosen a school in California because my mom was just too much, with all her dating and getting married not too long after. She had been through five husbands since dad, two of which had turned out to be gay, and one had been married to someone else. My mother was something else.
Now she was on husband number seven and she was super excited for me to meet him. I was her only child and she loved me more than anything and I knew she couldn't spend her life alone forever mourning dad, but she could at least date these guys a little longer than two months. Not her, she was hard headed, it's where I got it from, and no matter how many times I told her this, she refused to listen.

Ring, ring!
"Hello?" I answered.
"Where are you?" My mom said.
"My flight was delayed, I just got off the plane, and I'm about to get a cab."
"No need, the driver should be there. See you soon, love." She hung up.
I scoffed at the phone and put it in my pocket looking for a sign with my name.

Hunter:
I couldn't believe my dad wanted me to go pick her up, we had drivers that got paid to do that.
"Just do this one thing for me, you two are going to be family soon, you guys should get to know each other." He was right and I just took my keys and the sign Sally, my soon-to-be step-mom, had made and jumped in my Camaro heading to the airport.
Now, I stood there with the sign waiting for my new step-sister, Chasity. My wolf was irritated, he hated to be kept waiting. Sally didn't know about dad and I, we had left our pack because the Alpha had refused to let me date his daughter and that made my dad mad because he was the Beta, his right hand. I hadn't really liked her that much, but my father refused to be treated like that.
Frankly, I think he was looking for an excuse to leave the pack. We had moved from New York and joined a different pack here in Texas, well away from our old pack. They welcomed us with open arms and soon we were like family, then he met Sally. The woman was a lot to handle, but my dad seemed to love her.
Mmy mother had been killed by a rouge wolf protecting me, when I was five, so I don't remember much about her. I knew my dad missed her very much, but she hadn't been his one, true mate and unfortunately neither was Sally, but she was enough, at least that's what he had told me.
I had asked a wolf in our old pack once about true mates and he had explained how he had felt like nothing else mattered but her. He had said that his heart would skip a beat everytime she said his name and how she had the sweetest scent like daisies, that was unique only to her. He explained it a bit more detailed, but it had been a long time ago and I had figured that since so few wolves found their other halves that I would never find mine.
Then I saw her. She was at the top of the escalator and she had the sweetest face and a nice tan. She was a brunette and I didn't really like brunettes, normally. She looked around searching for someone.
A boyfriend, probably, my wolf growled, not too keen on the thought.
She stopped when she saw me and my heart leapt into my throat when she smiled.

Chasity:
I reached the escalators knowing the usual spot my mom would wait for me, at the bottom, where everyone else waited. I looked around brushing my long hair over my shoulder.
I got the curls from my dad's side of the family and my mom is a blonde, so I got his brown hair. I finally saw a sign with my name on it, that only my mother could've made, and I smiled. Although the guy holding the card couldn't have been a driver. All my mom's drivers were older men and this guy was around my age. He was taller than me and had sandy blonde hair and slightly pale skin, but he was built like an athlete. He was toned, and good looking. I walked up to him
"Hi, I'm Chasity and you are?"

Hunter:
The gorgeous brunette reached the bottom of the escalator and walked towards me. I forgot about why I had been standing there in the first place. Her eyes were so green and yet so familiar, but I was lost in them and she hadn't even closed the ten feet between us. She stopped in front of me.
"Hi, I'm Chasity and you are?" My heart sunk and my mouth fell slightly open. My wolf howled in protest. I knew why they looked familiar; she has her mother's eyes.
"I'm Hunter, your soon-to-be stepbrother." I hated to point it out and so did my wolf, but I did it more to remind us than to let her know. Man, how did my life get so complicated in just two minutes?
