Hunter:

Keep still! I say.

I can't and you know that! She is the one! My wolf growls back.

She can't be! She is going to be our sister! Trying to talk some sense into him.

Doesn't matter and you know this! She is going to be our sister through your human joining ritual. He replies.

It's called marriage and it is legally binding! So calm down and stop fidgeting. I say, ending the conversation.

I gripped the steering wheel while a guy helped Chasity put her bags in the trunk. I glared as she touched his arm, laughing at something he had said. Then she got in the car after waving at the stranger.

"That guy was so nice," she said, still looking at him as he walked away. I tried to keep myself from growling. I exhaled slowly.

"So are we going? Or what?"

"Already nagging like a sister should?" I chuckled, this would work. I would just push her away. We wouldn't even need to be around each other and we would probably only see each other on the holidays. She was just here for the wedding and then she would leave. I drove home happy with my new plan. This was going to be the easiest few weeks in our life. I couldn't wait to get away from her and her sweet, intoxicating scent.

Chasity:

It's too bad he's going to be my brother. He's just so cute.

Chaz, you can't think like that! He is going to be family. We don't think family is attractive in any way. I scoff internally.

It's not like we grew up together or anything. We're both adults whose parents just happened to be getting married.

He's already treating you like an annoying little sister though. I sighed.

The drive to the house was quite. I couldn't wait to get into my bedroom. I hadn't been home in a good six months or so.

My mom was waiting for us on the driveway. I jumped out and ran to greet her. She squeezed me tight. I breathed in the familiar scent that was my mother. I had missed her so much.

"Geesh, was is that bad without me?"

"Of course, sweetie! I miss you so much when you're gone. Hunter, dear, could you get her bags, please?" She called to Hunter, while pulling me inside. "I have some good news and some bad news."

"Good news, first."

"We are getting a bigger house!" I noticed all the boxes and sighed, but it's good news. This house was only a two bedroom with a huge master bedroom. I had figured we would have to move, since I was out of college now and would be staying with my mom until I got a job and then my own place.

"So what's the bad news?"

"We set up the master bedroom for you two kids to share. It was Greg's idea. Sorry, sweetie, but at least you get the side closest to the bathroom."

This was not good. What did she think I was twelve and still thought boys had cooties? I'm a woman and I can't share a room or bathroom with a guy, brother or not! I sighed knowing there was nothing I could do.

I went upstairs to our new bedroom. They had put a couple of partitions about 6 feet high separating the two sides of the room. Most my stuff and my full bed were on the right closest to the bathroom. I put my bag on my bed and before long heard Hunter sigh. I turned around and he did not look happy.

"You didn't know either?"

"No, of course not. I'm not sharing a room with her!" He stomped off probably to go and yell at his dad. My mom came in, looking apologetic.

"It was a surprise! Like a band aid, quick and painless, he had said. It will only be for six weeks. After we get back from our honeymoon we will move the rest of the stuff to the new house. That's the earliest they said it would be ready. Sorry, love." She hugged me. "It's good to have you home."

"I'm glad to be home," I told her.

Hunter:

"I don't want to share a room with her, dad!"

"It hasn't been a day and you already hate her, son? Sorry, it's only for a few weeks anyway. Then we will get to move into the new house and you will each have your own rooms."

"How long is a few weeks?"

"After the honeymoon. Hmmm, six weeks? Yeah six weeks."

Six weeks? In the same room? My wolf grinned in his own wolfish way. NO! Don't go getting any ideas, I tell him, It will be completely innocent and it's only temporary anyway. We just have to maintain control over this.

I couldn't bring myself to tell my dad about the whole mate thing. He just seemed to happy with Sally for me to force him out of a marriage with her. I would just try to take my mind off of Chasity and take it step by step. Baby steps, as they say.

I went back to my new room and heard the shower running. I sighed and fell on my bed. This is going to be a long six weeks.
