Me: "It's okay I learned the smarts so I'll be okay!"

THIS WAS A JOKE OKAY! I mean it actually happened but we were saying "the smarts" as a joke. I made a mistake when I was trying to do a math problem so I and my friend argued about it lol and that's what it turned into. Lol. Here is the story of how we got this joke...
Guidance counselor: "Who could read in first grade?"
Chris (a girl): "I could since preschool!"
Guidance counselor: "Really? Since preschool?"
Chris:"Yeah my parents wanted me to learn the smarts at a young age."
Me: *facepalm* "Chris, the smarts?"
Chris: "Yeah" *starts explaining what she did*
