February 14 ~~

I woke up to the sound of my alarm, Damn you. I thought, being awoken from a perfectly good dream doesn't make you ecstatic. Everyone was sitting in the living room, watching their junk shows on Netflix. "Morning." I greeted, while plopping down next to El. "Gmornin" Draco huffed out, trying not to lose his focus from the show. I eventually lost interest in the teenagers watching their show and headed to breakfast.

When I walked inside the wide room I saw my old friends sitting at their usual table. Should I say hi? I thought to myself, subconsciously I walked over and smiled at them. Each of them exchanged glances, "Hi Mike, new friends ignoring you already?" Lucas sneered. "No, they are just glued to the television, so I decided to say hi while I'm getting breakfast." I snarkily replied. "We appreciate it Mike, come sit." Max told me while showing her classic smile. I graciously sat down between Max and Will.

"Has anything happened recently?" I asked particularity to no one. Dustin pondered for a moment, "Actually not really, We all got passing marks on our exams though." Dustin implied. "Oh, I just got a 75%" I replied. "Not bad, heard Troy flunked and has to retake it again." Will said. Suddenly El walked in and sat down at the table, doodling in her notebook. "Is that your girlfriend?" Max teased, Dustin chuckled. "Actually yes she is." I sassily replied back. Dustin suddenly choked on his milk that he was drinking, "Congrats buddy!" Will exclaimed while patting my back. I grinned and Lucas huffed, I heard him and Max broke apart a little while ago.

"See you guys later, Maybe this weekend we can go to Castle Byers for old times sake?" I asked, Dustin's eyes twinkled happily while Wills face lit up with joy. "Of course, sounds fun! We can get some homework done as well." Max said while putting on a light smile as well. Lucas just shrugged, "You guys can go, I'll just visit my sister."

I didn't realize how many people were carrying roses, chocolates and teddy bears. My mind flew to getting El something. "Where did they get all this junk anyways?" Draco asked while glancing over at a group of girls squealing over their gifts. "Last weekend remember?" I asked, reminiscing when students hustled getting their presents ready. "Can you cover for me? I need to get El a gift." I told Draco. "Mike, we can't leave school grounds on weekdays." Draco replied. "I know.. but I feel bad that I didn't get El a present, if anyone asks where I am just tell them I'm showering." I told him.

Draco nodded then I scurried over to my dorm room, grabbing my jacket and some money. I waked to the closest store, being careful not to get caught. The store was completely decorated in pink and red. Filled with hundreds of valentines things, from candy, chocolates, flowers, stuffed animals and so much more. My attention was brought to a bouquet of roses, each individually colored. White, red, blue, pink. I satisfyingly got the beautiful flowers and headed towards the chocolate area. A little chocolate bear was neatly wrapped in a box, topped off with a red bow. I got that as well, then getting a card and finalizing the gifts with a white bag with red hearts.

Finally, I returned to the dorms and showed off the present. Receiving 'oohs' and 'ahs' from Cissy, Janel and Draco. "Els in the library she should be back soon." Cissy told me, while fiddling around with her ombré hair. I've never noticed how Cissy has been quiet for the past couple of days, but I shrugged it off briefly as I heard the door open. "Happy Valentine's Day!" I told El while handing her the bag of gifts. She smiled and pulled me into a hug. "This is lovely! Thank you Mike!" She exclaimed while going through her presents. She liked the card most of all. El placed the roses in a vase and into the living room, then immediately enjoying the chocolate bear.

"I'm sorry I didn't get you anything.." El admitted sheepishly. "Ah that's okay, I don't need anything." I replied, while moving a piece of her messy brown hair out of her eyes. "I still feel bad though, here." She said while handing me a tiny piece of the chocolate bear. I gratefully ate it and smiled. "Chocolate is amazing don't you think?" She asked. I nodded and admired the beautiful plants on the table. They shined perfectly with the light outside, casting the vase with a lovely glow.

Hey guys, hope you enjoyed the chapter. I enjoy writing this book and definitely plan on doing more. But sadly, I have some sad news. A particular profile copied one of my oneshots and put it in their oneshots book. I reported them and everything but it made me very upset. Please don't copy anyone's work, you don't know if they worked hard on it. Let's try to end plagiarism - at least on wattpad.

Best regards,
Sejla.
