Didn't really check for mistakes in this chapter.
-As I sat on the plane my mind floated to different thoughts, What did Mike mean by being a family? I remembered what Mike told me, "It's all me and Ave imagined. He always wanted a mom." I shuddered slightly when thinking about having a family. Don't get me wrong, I would love to. It's just that it's unnatural to me, I haven't spoken to Mike in years (Until now) and we are considered a family. Mike also mentioned how I am a brilliant mother figure to Avery.
I felt a hand grip around mine, I knew it was Avery's since I could sense his fear and jitteriness. "Are You okay?" I asked while observing his face, His already pale features were even more pale, his usually cheerful brown eyes are now in fear. "I-I h-haven't been on a p-plane before." Avery muttered, "Dads wo-worried I'll have a p-panic Attack..."
I Gave him a soft smile and held his hand tightly, "Everything will be fine, here." I said while gesturing over to the tiny T.V in the seat in front of us. "Most of it is French, but you'll find one you will like." I told him, the blond boy laughed, letting his messy blond hair drape over his eyes.
"Bien sur, je peux parler Français." (Of course, I can speak French.) He muttered, leaving me in shock.
"Je suppose que j'avais tort." (I guess I was wrong.) I told him while laughing.
"What are you both on about?" Mike laughed, me and Avery exchanged glances and then joined Mikes laughing. "Have you taught him French?" I asked him. "Nope, he probably learned himself from the books he reads." Mike replied. "He doesn't stutter in French, that's pretty amazing." I told Mike, who nodded and smiled.
For the next couple of minutes we annoyed Mike by talking in French, only French.
"Can you guys quit it?" Mike asked but placing a small smile on his face.
"Pardon monsieur?" (Pardon sir?) I playfully asked. Mike sighed and rested his head against the window. "This is going to be a long flight..." he muttered under his breath, only receiving a giggle from Avery.

Avery quietly hummed while he read his book, I glanced over at Mike whom was fast asleep. "H-hey I have a q-question." Avery stated. "Is it a-alright if I c-call you m-mom?" I smiled and nodded, "Of course." I said while squeezing his hand.Elisora was in the back of my mind, I tried to push her away but I couldn't stop thinking about her. I couldn't believe how she left Mike and Avery. My thoughts raced as I remembered of how Elisora had other children, Elisoras grandmother took care of them - because their fathers didn't care for their accidental children, but Mike, he cared a lot. He loves Avery with all of his heart, Am I getting in the way of that?
My quick thoughts were interrupted by Avery nudging my shoulder, "Mom?" He asked. I glanced over to the twitchy boy on my right. "Yes?" I asked waiting for his reply, he has gotten nervous again. "I-I never met my real mom, but I h-heard she has some s-sort of magic powers.." Avery stated nervously while biting his lip. "Yes she does, but she uses them for bad things. I only use them when I need to." I told him. "I d-didn't know y-you had them too.." Avery spoke.
"I w-wanted to talk to y-you about them." Avery continued. I nodded waiting for him to talk. Avery took a deep breath in and held his hand against his heart, slowly he lifted up his hand and got sucked into some sort of mind trance. His apple juice nearby started shaking lightly, and his eyes squeezed closed.
I tapped Mikes shoulder, making him wake up and watch his son do the unspeakable. Avery successfully levitated the drink in the air, and let it back on the little stand.
Avery's eyes opened once again and Mike and I smiled.
-
As the plane stopped the three of us grabbed our things. We all walked inside the airport and got a taxi. We drove in silence to a hotel, I had supposed Avery was still in shock by what he had done on the plane.

(Sorry for the short chapter, blah blah blah..)I am suffering from some major writers block and not that much inspiration at the moment. If anyone has any ideas could you please let me know?
Anyways, I'm planning on changing up my writing style a little bit, since it's really bad and I don't really like it. I plan on making my writing more descriptive (Kinda like how it is in my new book "You don't know me.")
I also plan on making more third person views since my sentences have a lot of "I." In them. Just remember, I'm still learning more things about writing and I'm merely just in middle school. So I'm practicing as much as I can & I'm trying my best :)
Love ya ~
