Nashira is a child of the Day Court. Known for its 1000 libraries, its people have become defined by knowledge, or by good old fashioned power. If you don't have enough knowledge, you are worthless, especially women. Told to stay home and never taught more than their fathers dictate, they are pushed to the bottom. And they are never given the chance to prove themselves worthy in any sense outside of nobility and people of status.

Nashira knows she is made for more than the life her betters chose for her. Will she be able to escape the harshness of her cage or forever be nothing?

Okay people, I'm back and with Nashira's story too. Now if you guys are past readers of my other story on the acotar series, Stars eternal without the night, then you might know a bit about how this story might end. Well, let me tell you, this is centuries in the future of where Nashira's story will start. Also, as I was writing this, the characters and stories had a mind of their own and so not everything written in that story will apply here.

The beginning takes place years before The War, with Nashira being a child. The story will progress and there will be time skips but all in due order. The story will not include other courts in it unless necessary for the plot to merge with the acotar series.

Since the High Lord meeting described Helion and his people to be similar to Egyptians, that's what I'll base the looks, food and culture for the story on. I might include other african culture and my own twists to form a unique setting, but if no descriptions are given, think Egypt, without the pyramids though.

Other than that, this story will hopefully be a complex and interesting plot, with hidden flair.

I love getting feedback from my readers and I'm always available, got too much free time, to answer any questions. Please vote if you enjoy the story and stay positive.

Major important thing! If I put up an author note please read because I will not interrupt the story if I don't have to, so they should be read. Thanks.

Grab some non-perishable snacks because this will take a while, so get comfortable and enjoy.
