This story was asked for and inspired by wendiGODIE , I hope this was good enough and also not OOC.

Roman was in the library for the first time in months, he wasn't much of a reader, but when it came to theatre, he would read about anything related to characters, dialects, monologues, even Shakespeare, which was secretly his favorite type of theatre. Roman was looking for the last copy of Othello and he was in a hurry, this was his last chance to get to read the play before the semester ended and he was anxious for the play that would start at the beginning of next semester.

The computer had said the last copy was on the fourth floor and he rushed to the area, poised to get that last copy before somebody else snatched his chance.

He began looking at the ends of the shelves and finally found the row he was searching for. He began at one end, slowly and cautiously moving up and down the shelves searching for his beloved script. Roman was more than excited to start checking out Othello, he wasn't overly familiar with the story, but he was tickled pink that the professors had even considered him good enough to audition.

He finally found the last copy of Othello, and he reached up for the script and saw another arm reaching for the book as well. He snatched the book at the same time the other hand had grabbed the book. Both of the arms pulled the book and both people looked into each other's eyes.

The other man in front of Roman was stunningly attractive, even more so than he himself was, which was very uncommon. Roman would have been star-struck if he wasn't trying to take the last copy of Othello.

"Hi," he smiled.

"Not now, I need Othello."

"Oh," the boy with a tight grip on his book frowned "you need to be more polite, also, I need this book as well, slugger."

Roman glared at the childish mop of brown hair in front of him and thought of many childish insults he could hurl at the gorgeous man across from him. He noticed the boy's expression change to big puppy dog eyes and Roman began to feel bad, so he apologized. " Sorry, you can have it, I'll just look it up online. Othello is one of my favorite plays, I hope you enjoy reading it."

The other boy's face lit up and he gave the boy across from him a huge grin and thanked him. "Thank you. I really have to go though, I'm Patton."

Roman blushed "I'm Roman."

Patton gave Roman a huge beautiful smile that left Roman staring at the childish figure walking away. Roman had realized he had given up his only chance at getting the boy's number and he frowned, if it's meant to be, he'll see the beautiful boy again.

Roman walked into his first class of the new semester, which happened to be a communications class, he was quite excited about it (a lot of the curriculum included Shakespeare's works). Roman noticed a familiar boy sitting quietly reading what Roman realized was the very same copy of Othello that he had borrowed when they had first met. Roman smirked, this was his second chance.

Roman slid into the seat next to Patton and put on a charming smile. "Hello, sunshine," Roman smiled sweetly.

Patton looked momentarily surprised, until he seemingly realized who was speaking to him and blushed profusely. "Hello, Roman," he chirped.

"Would you do me a favor and never set, Sunshine?" Roman inching even closer to the charming boy near him.

Patton's eyes widened and he blushed even harder, Roman was charming the pants off of Patton. Patton was speechless, what was this other boy doing?

"I think I may have to stop staring, I may just be blinded by your beauty."

Patton didn't think he could have gotten any redder, but this comment made him blush an even deeper shade of red, it was beautiful to Roman. "Th-thank you, Roman, I may just have to thank you by taking you on a date."

Roman didn't think his flirting would work, but now he was just excited to spend time with the boy next to him, someone he had hoped to one day call his own.

I hope to be able to write based on some requests.
