Chapter 24

I clamped my hand over my mouth. Tears flowing down my cheeks. His words brought back memories, bad ones.

He was on the high school track & field team and he heard that a guy flirted with me, while he was at practice and he literally had a fight with that guy, even though George knew that we were not a couple.

George punched and hit that guy so much that he couldn't get over the bruises for 4 months.

I didn't want him to repeat that.

Fernando comforted me while I wasn't over the fact that George threatened Fernando, the most important person in my life. I could give up anything for Fernando to be safe and okay.

"Fernando, he threatened you and me together" I cried

"Ally, nothings going to happen to us" he said politely

I put my hands on his shoulders "Fernando, please stay away from him" I sobbed "I can't afford to lose you"

"Relax Ally, everything'll be fine"

I snuggled into him and we both laid down on the bed and fell asleep.

I woke up with the sound of the alarm. I stopped the annoying noise. I looked over to see that Fernando was still sleeping. I glanced over to the time. Shoot! We were half an hour late.

"Fernando" I shook him and he opened his eyes and those chocolate brown eyes made me melt in them.

"What?" he asked sleepily

"We are late, please get ready" I said smiling

"Okay" he said sitting up

I sat up too and walked to the washroom. I quickly showered (my quickest ever, 3 minutes) and got dressed. I went to the kitchen and made pancakes for me and Fernando.

I couldn't believe that I was with THE Fernando Torres, the guy who made guys feel gay. Yeah, gays. People used to think he was gorgeous, even boys, and the way he smiled, oh I don't see where guys won't feel gay.

He came to the kitchen, his hair a bit wet and messy over his forehead. I smiled at him and he smiled back before kissing my cheek.

He then sat to eat while I sat with him, taking small bites.

"So, when will you be back?" I asked

"Thursday, or maybe even Friday" he said

"That's too long," I said "I'll miss you"

"Me too, Ally, but I promise it'll be better when I come back"

As I got up to put the dishes in the sink, I gave him a small peck on the lips.

"Lets go" he said grabbing the keys

We drove to my house, where I quickly changed. I sat back in my car this time and drove to the airport.

"I'm gonna miss you" I confessed hugging Fernando at the airport.

"I'll call you tonight" He said before giving me a quick kiss.

I felt my body sink at that. Tears were welling up in my eyes. He looked at me apologizingly and hugged me. "Don't cry, sweatheart, I'll be back before you know it and I'll skype you everyday for the next four days till I come back" He said kissing my cheek.
