Chapter 10

CHAPTER 10

“Sam said its fine if I stay with you tonight” I told Fernando

“Great” he said smiling politely

I walked with him to his car, which was an Audi, I don’t remember the exact model but it was a car. I loved Audis. He sat on the driver seat and I sat on the passenger’s seat and we wore our seat belts, of course safety first! The way was kind of dark, especially through the strawberry lane but, the headlights made it possible to see everything, well almost everything.

“Are you tired?” he asked

“I guess, are you?” I replied and asked

“Not a lot” he answered

“Nice fatigue level, number 9” I said

He chuckled in a reply.

“By the way, you are great at football or the best perhaps” I said

“Thanks but I think that many other people are better than me” he answered

“No way, the Liverpool number nine is the best of all!” I exclaimed

He smiled.”Thanks”

I nodded.

We reached the front gate of his house and got off the car. His house seemed cool. He walked with me to the entrance and unlocked the door. The door creaked a bit and opened and the first thing I could see was a living room with a large LCD screen and a sound system. On the side of the room was a dining room and a kitchen, a joint kitchen with living room. There was a small corridor leading to the stairs on the other side of the living room which led to the bedrooms and the guestroom. His house was amazing.

“You like it?” he asked

“Yeah, it’s cool” I answered still amazed

“I was thinking of watching a movie tonight, scary maybe” he suggested

“I think I can handle that” I replied

“I’ll make popcorn and we’ll watch the movie” he declared

“Um-hm” I nodded

I saw him go to the kitchen and get two packages of popcorn and put them in the microwave. I sat on the comfy white couch, and it was truly comfortable, I liked it. He came with popcorn in like 3 minutes or so.  He set the popcorns on the table and put a DVD disc in the DVD player. The movie started, he turned off the lights and sat next to me.

“I get scared sometimes, you know nightmares have led me to being scared a lot, since I was a kid I had nightmares of scary things like blood and knives all around me” I explained

“Don’t worry, you’re safe, at least with me” he said putting his arm around my shoulder

It was true, I felt safe with him plus a bit dizzy when I stared in to his chocolate brown eyes. Ughh I couldn’t resist the amazing eyes. I put my head on his shoulder and he smiled.

The movie started and we started to watch. The movie went through scary scenes and romantic ones but I was scared, truly scared. During scary parts, I dug my face to his chest to protect myself as if they were real, plus I needed an excuse to do that and he griped my shoulders tightly. In the end I felt sleepy and was fighting with my eyes to keep open, but eventually lost and shut them. I don’t know how long I slept but I had this amazing dream of Fernando Torres coming close to me and to kiss me. The dream was a dim one but I had all the outlined, important details I needed.

“Ally” Fernando said running his fingers through my hair, waking me from the dream

I saw that I wasn’t in the living room anymore, I was in a bedroom, my head was on Fernando’s chest and one of his hands was on my waist and one running through my hair gently.

“How did I come here?” I confusingly asked

“You were sleeping, so I had to carry you to the bedroom for a better sleep, that place would have not been good for long” he explained

“Thanks, but what about training?” I asked

“No training today” he told me

“That means that I have to spend the whole day with Emily, you can come to my house to give me good company, Emily is bossy” I suggested

“Who’s Emily?” he asked

“My older sister, I have been living with her for five years, since the start of medical school” I explained and he nodded as a sign that he understood.

“What about your siblings Israel and Maria, are they bossy?” I asked

“No, they are mostly nice” he told me with a smile

“Will you come to my house?” I asked

“Sure” he said
