"You can't stay here forever, you have to come back."

"I can't escape it anyway, it'll happen no matter what. You're just delaying the inevitable."

"You're risking it all... for what? A silly boy you're blindly in love with? Why can't you just tell him the truth then?"

"I don't want to hurt him."

"But in doing so, you'll be hurting yourself."

"I'll willingly hurt myself over and over again for him."

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday Changbinnie, happy birthday to you!" Voices sang loudly, causing Changbin to blush and look down from all the attention on him.

The room was filled with cheers and claps as the song ended. Changbin smiled from ear to ear, closing his eyes and blowing out the 27 candles on his cake.

Minho had booked a hall in a 5 star hotel for Changbin as his birthday present. Changbin felt bad, he honesty wouldn't mind a simple party at someone's house but Minho insisted it was no big deal.

"You're so old now!" Hyunjin came over, clapping the older on the back and Changbin scoffed.

He widened his eyes in mock terror, "Your turn next year, watch out grandpa."

Hyunjin laughed and made way for others to congratulate the birthday boy. Many well wishes and thanks were shared, but Changbin was looking out for a certain blonde haired boy.

Suddenly, his vision was blocked as a pair of hands came down and covered his eyes. "Guess who?" A familiar voice whispered, breath tickling his nape, and Changbin grinned knowingly.

Turning around, Changbin pecked Felix on the lips and said, "Hm I was kind of hoping you would be G-dragon but I guess you'll do, Lee Felix."

Felix let out an indignant huff and playfully slapped Changbin's arm. "Come on, let's go somewhere out of here." Felix grabbed onto Changbin's wrist but he hesitated.

"Shouldn't I stay for my birthday party though? Would it be too rude?" Changbin asked.

"It's fine, the guests have each other. And anyway, they'll completely understand if they notice that its me and you that's missing." Changbin chuckled at Felix's reply and gave in, letting the younger lead him away.

They swerved through masses of people and went up the staircase until they reached a door labelled 'Rooftop entrance'.

"Oh, the roof? How cliche." Changbin joked.

Felix stuck out his tongue, "Shut up, you're gonna love it. Just see..." He swung the door open and Changbin was greeted with a beautiful sight.

The roof was covered in greenery and fairy lights hung from the sides, giving the place an iridescent glow. There was a small man made waterfall at one wall, and chairs and a swing evenly spaced out. You could see the city skyline from here.

Changbin let out a small gasp, "Did you do all this?"

"What? No! I'm broke as hell," Felix laughed. "It's already designed like this by the hotel. All I did was bring you here and hope no one else is around..." He looked around at the empty area. "Guess we're in luck."

Changbin immediately headed for the swings and sat on one side as Felix followed, sitting beside him.

They sat in silence for a while, swinging slightly and admiring the lights scintillating around them. Felix was sitting close to Changbin, but not too close in which they were touching. They didn't need physical contact all the time to show their love. The mere act of being together already was enough.
