Melody woke up and stretched. She changed into a new pair of clothes and fixed her hair. I'll go see Rosella! Melody arrived at Rosella's front door and knocked on it.

"Oh. Hey Melody!" Rosella said happily.

"Can we hang out?" Melody asked.

"Sorry, can't. Going to Dawson's," Rosella said while trying to put her shoe on. She hopped around a little while trying to get it on, and then she finally got it on.

"Okay then." Melody got out of Rosella's way while she locked the door and walked away. What should I do now? Melody thinks for a moment. I should stretch my legs. I'll go out for a jog!

Rosella walked up to Dawson's house and went inside.

"Okay, Dawson, I'm here. What did you want me for?" Rosella asked.

"Since we all know Chadder is my best friend--" Dawson started but then gets cut off.

"Hey, I thought I was your best friend," Rosella said teasingly.

"You are both my best friends. I can have two."

"I know I was just teasing."

"Anyway, Chadder's skull broke while hitting his head on a rock while we were jumping off the cliff into the ocean, and I need you to see if he'll be okay when he comes back. He lost his balance, started vomiting, and passed out. I had to take him to a hospital outside of town, the one in Maywood." Rosella closed her eyes tight.

Chadder comes back to Lilycove in one piece, looking perfectly fine.

Chadder comes back a little wobbly and little brain damage.

"Okay," Rosella said. "Here's what I picked up: He got a indent in his head and it touched his brain a little. Also, there's a 40% chance he'll come back perfectly fine, and a 60% chance he'll come back with slight injuries and some brain damage. Oh, yeah, and a 10% chance he'll die."

"What really?" Dawson said worried. "Wait, there can't be a total of 110%! Not in this case. You're messing with me!" Rosella nodded. "Sometimes I wish I would've gotten the seeing the future. Then, I could tease and taunt you instead!"

"The 10% chance of death is a lie, but the rest is true," Rosella said. "Is that all you needed? Because... Melody wanted to hang out."

"Oh, sure you can go," Dawson said.

"Thanks," Rosella said walking outside. Then, she walked outside and closed the door behind her.

It was hot outside, but it was going to get hotter. Rosella knew this even without looking into the future. The summer luau is tomorrow and I can't wait. She could just imagine the food and games during sunset. She looked into the future. Nothing bad was going to happen, except the fact that the fish was going to be a little raw. I can prevent that. As long as I tell Butch to keep it on the grill a little longer. Then what at are the odds?

She checked the future again. Yup, no raw fish in our future. In the distance she saw Melody jogging, and Rosella decided to run up to her.

"What's the rush Melody?" she asked.

"Just getting some exercise," Melody said while panting.

"Okay," Rosella said. "So, what do you want to do today?" Rosella thought for a little bit. "Want to go to the beach?" Rosella suggested.

"Sure, why not?" Melody said.

"Oh! That reminds me! The summer luau is tomorrow, Melody."

"It is? I don't have any clothes!"
