No, this must be a dream, as I wake up in a room full of every thing being white! Even the floor is white! What the hell? I jump out of bed and wince as the needles gets torn from my arm. Hey maybe that was meant to be there? Have I been kidnapped? Maybe my dad has finally killed me? My eyes blur with tears at this thought then the doors swings open. I jump back and begin to automatically shake. I cover my eyes and cower on the bed. I feel a hand touch me and I begin to scream.

"Hey, hey, what's wrong? I'm not going to hurt you, I'm your nurse" says a soft simple voice from the side of me. My heart calms down and I turn to look at a petite young blonde haired woman with blue eyes. Pretty, I thought.

"Why.. Am.. I.. Here?" I manage to choke out then roll my eyes at myself for sounding so stupid, like a five year old.

"You passed out hunni, and we had to keep you under surveillance as you was out for a few days" I sprung up as the words swam around my head.

"What about my mum, is she okay?" The nurse looked at me with sorrow and sadness in her eyes.

" I know I shouldn't be telling you this, but Scarlett your mum passed away this morning" I immediately began sobbing and the nurse took me in her arms, whispering comforting words in my ears but none of it made a difference. Things were about to change, dramatically.

The door swung open and there revealed my dad looking very angry. His eyes softened as he set his gaze on the nurse.

"I'll leave you two to it, sorry about your loss sir"
My dad nodded in recognition then closed the door behind her. He sat next to me on the bed and then forcefully grabbed my wrist.

"You bitch, you didn't even say goodbye to your mum before she died. At least she is no longer in this world with a daughter like you, you pathetic human being!" Tears began to steam down my cheek and that's when I realised I have to get out of my dad's house before he kills me.
