I decided to start and post my story already, I’m still busy writing it as it’s my first long fanfic.
Here are a few things you’ll need to know first:
1: I read a lot of fanfic’s with the character of the shows or movies I watched, but haven’t found a lot with the real actor instead of the guy his playing. That where I wanted to be different.
2: I started this story in 2007, before I became fan of Shemar, meaning I had to change lots of pages to make it work when I used Shemar’s name and those of the other cast members. I didn’t know much about them yet. (I know more about them now, but wanted my story to stay like it was, or it would become too real I think).
3: Then I had to change it again when Lola and Mandy left and Paget and Joe came in.
4: It wasn’t until aug. 2009 when I knew Shemar had step brothers and sisters. I didn’t want to change the story again so I left it like that. If you read it and think ‘hey Shemar has brothers and sisters and still has contact with his dad’ I’m sorry about that, but here in my story I wrote that he only had his mother.
5: Speaking of his mother, I didn’t know Marilyn has MS until I read it on the previous forum.
6: If you think it’s not real enough, also because of 3 & 4 then please don’t read it, if you don’t like the start, then please don’t read it.
7: I used my name Ng, cause after searching lots of name sites; I couldn’t found one that I liked. Hate it or like it, I don’t care. I had this story in my head with the original character names and wanted to keep it that way.
8: As said before, I started this story in 2007, you may think so long, but I left the story alone for some months, started writing some more and then stopped again . Now it's 2014 and I finished this story last year.
9: Please remember it’s a fanfic and (unfortunately) I don’t own CM nor the cast… just the characters I made up. What you will read only happened in my imagination. Although some things happened in real life, but you’ll be able to tell the different when. I also thought they filmed the show in Vancouver.
10: Please don’t be too critical in the feedback or in my language (Dutch is my language) and the way you read my story when you can think ‘ she wrote this line wrong’.
After saying all this, here we go and have fun reading it.
