Prologue:
Hi, my name is Nesrin-Ghandra, I like to be called Ng, as it’s shorter and nicer to hear, anyway here is my story about the love of my life, although I never believed in it anymore, still he won my heart, even though we had our ups and downs..
It all began in august 2007.
Chapter 1:
“Good evening ladies and gentleman and welcome to Silver Knight, as you all know, the place for having fun and karaoke”!!! Bernie, my boss, said in the microphone.
Everyone cheered and Rosalie started the karaoke.
“First off all we’re starting with 4 of our waitresses signing ‘My Immortal from Evanescence’; give it up for Shelby, Ng, Hayley and Amber”!!
“Let’s go Ng”. Hayley said as she and the rest of my friends went on stage. Like we all agreed Shelby would sing the first part, then me and so on.
At the part we’re I was singing, eight people came in; they took place in front of the stage and looked around.
I don’t know why but one guy got my attention.
After the song we went back behind the bar to Bernie, who gave us the orders for the evening.
"Ng and Hayley you two take the stage, Shelby and Amber you two take the back”. Bernie said while we all put our shorts on.
“You can’t do the bar alone Bernie”. I said to my best friend for 3 years.
“Kelly will be here in 10 min, and Casey in 30 min, don’t worry Ng, if I need help I will call one of you girls”. He smiled.
We all went our ways, Hayley wanted to do the left side of the stage, she had seen some cute guys, leaving me with the Centre and the few tables on the right.
The guy, I had seen coming in with his friends, put his hand up asking for me to come over.
“Good evening and welcome to Silver Knight, my name is Ng and I am you’re waitress for this evening, what can I get you”? I asked polite.
“Hey Ng, I’m Shemar, next to me is Matthew, that’s his girlfriend Caitlin, next to Caitlin we have Paget and her boyfriend Thomas, next to Thomas we have Joe and his wife Sara, on the another side of you is Eric, Kirsten and A.J.”. Shemar introduced me happily to the gang.
“Don’t mind Shemar here, five beers and five white wines please”. Matthew said.
I smiled at them and said, “Five beers and five wines, coming up”.
Just before I could turn around Eric grabbed me by the arm and asked:
“How can we get in line to sing”?
I looked shocked at first, but then smiled.
“I’ll bring some maps with the songs”. I said and turned around.
“Stop checking her out Shemar”. I heard one of the guys whisper, but I’ve heard it.
“Will David and Jeremy please come on stage for their requested song ‘Hey Jude’? Rosalie asked.

“Five beers and five white wines please”. I asked Bernie.
While he was busy I saw him looking at the table of Shemar, Matthew and the rest.
“Want me to play your lover boy again”? Bernie asked while putting the first three beers on my plateau.
