Chapter 4:
Today it’s the first day of the spring...
I drove to Silver Knight and entered through the back door, unaware someone was watching me.
“Hey Bernie”. I said as I came in.
“Ng, Kevin is spotted in the neighborhood”. He told me.
I just looked at him confused.
“Kev... OMG how did he know where I live”? I said as the words had downed in.
“Don’t know sweetie, but try to stay away from him as much as you can, I don’t want history to repeat.”
“It won’t Bern, I’m stronger now, he can’t hurt me anymore”. I said, but sounded more secure then I felt.
The first customers came in, followed by Rosalie.
Kevin was out of my thoughts as I started to work. The girls and me went on stage to sing the first song of the night.
“Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Hayley, Amber, Ng and Shelby with P!nk!!” Rosalie said.
We all started singing the chorus, then I sang the first part, Hayley did the next one, while Amber and Shelby sang the last part.
After we finished the song, we went back to work.

Around 10 o’clock Shemar walked in with his friends and went to their table.
“Hey babe”. He said as he wrapped his arms around me from behind.
“Hey, happy you’re here”. I said as I turned around and got a kiss.
“How was the reading”? I asked, because he had a table-read with the cast and guest cast, while we walked to table 5.
“Very good, I’m sorry I’m leaving again, but…” Shemar started.
“Sweetie it’s ok, you have a job to do and that job makes you fly between Vancouver and here. I understand and it’s not a problem if I don’t see you for two weeks or longer, because I know, you’ll call me every night”. I said to him and gave him a kiss, before we reached the table.
“FINALLY, someone comes to take our orders”. I heard Eric say, I looked at him confused.
“Just kidding”. He laughed.
I took their orders and went back to the bar. I was surprised when Bernie suddenly took my wrist and almost pulled me over the bar.
“Ng don’t look but, Kevin is here”. He said.
“What, but how, I never told him I work here…” I said.
“Don’t worry, I’m watching you, I’ve asked Tyler and Jake to keep an eye on him, as soon as you give them the sign they will throw him out and call the cops”.
“Thanks Bernie…, for making me feel safe”. I said as he looked at me not understanding.
I went back to table 5 and gave everyone their drinks.
“Shall I put the drinks on your bill, Sir”? I asked Shemar.
“That would be nice Miss”. He played along.
As I turned around he smacked my ass. I looked at him and he just winked.

“Damn I think, I’m falling in love with that girl”. Shemar said, looking at Ng, who walked back to the bar.
