Preface
It was the summer after my second year of university; I passed all my classes and ended the semester with a 4.0 grade point average. It is really surreal because I thought this could never happen to me, not the grades I was used to getting all A's, I didn't know that I was going to be given a time limit on life. I was given the very vague but very real reality of a set time and I didn't want to accept that reality, the only people who know about this reality were my parents. Let me just get it out there I have leukemia, I thought I was able to beat it since I caught it early on, I did a few rounds of chemotherapy, but none of it worked on me, so I just had to accept the fact that it was going to take over sooner or later, so the doctor gave me the vague time of before summer ends. So let's start from the beginning of my summer that I will never forget.
